  • there not soldiers , there commandos!

  • Do you guys really have to wear those hats (sorry, I don't know what it really is)?

  • @HGunner117

It's a beret. And considering how fucking hard these Marines have to work for them, I'm sure they love to wear them to show that they have conquered what most could only dream of. It may be part of their uniform anyway.

  • @ShadowRSonic It's only worn in drill and everyday duties, not in the field usually, it's worn here as a showpiece to show off the cap badge. You'd usually wear a helmet when patrolling etc. (I'm almost in the RM so that's how I know).

  • hahaha that bloke is hanging out really!! gipping

  • If its rain, i go to sleep....

  • Rain reminds me of pissing, so I pee.

  • is there not one advert that makes me not want ti sign up?

  • @blackangel73 such an immature remark. Burn in hell you racist bastard.

  • Comment removed

  • We are born soldiers

  • Didn't know there were blacks within the royal marines

  • @iBlackBolt always get one cunt !

  • There is no doubt that the USMC or US Army are brilliant and a vital asset to us on the field, but the RMC's and British Army have been fighting for over 200 yrs longer and we are far more experienced in warfare. While the US maybe more technologically advanced than us, we are un mistakebly better, as war is in our bloods and is all we know. It is better to die, than live a coward.

  • @TheBarnes96 who the fuck asked you ?based on your comment,i bet you are not even 18 years old.ohh and drop the 'we',you are at home now drinking tea.

  • @yandykun There is a point to be made with what he is saying though. Look at nam, terrible lack of discipline and drugs abuse from the American soldiers

  • @TheBarnes96 The organised British armed forces that we see today was created in the 1600's after the British civil war and the regimental side of it has barely changed since, some smaller regiments have grouped to form larger ones and special regiments have been created.

  • @ClinicallyObeseMule errrmm dont you mean English Civil War

  • @lonestar2779 no, the war was widespread across England and Wales but not Scotland if that's what you mean :)

  • @ClinicallyObeseMule No I mean it was teh English Civil war, trust me... I dont have a degree, MA and a Phd in History for nothing, your the only person in my life of education have heard you call it the British Civil war!!! you really need to read more books and stop making history up.

  • @lonestar277 okay, I must be confused with something else, Doc ;D

  • @ClinicallyObeseMule yeah im sure you do!!!!

  • I love rain

  • Man , i need to admit British military adverts especially Royal Marine Commando are the best military adverts i ever saw ..........they look so scary in this video , a real mean look of the commando.

  • if only the U.S. made adverts like this

  • No military makes ads like the brits, sorry.

  • If It's aint raining - It's aint training!

  • @h01yMEn true... but a snowstorm makes it worthwhile aswell.

  • @h01yMEn who ever came up with that saying needs buming. what a fuckin gay thing to say!!!! and guaranteed some choper in every section will say it when it starts raining!!! snaps me!!!

  • @h01yMEn

*If it aint raining - I aint training!

  • very well done!

  • Not trying to be an arse or anything but umm... he might want to cock his weapon.

  • @Duga125 what makes you think its not cocked?

  • @FureyinHD If you take a look at the area below the sight (SUSAT) you'll see a silver metallic block. To the right you'll see the cocking handle. To the left you'll see the dust cover. Basically when the weapon has been cocked the dust cover would be open and sort of flipped down. :)

  • @Duga125 Actually in the British armed forces it is a standard drill for us to flip the dust cover back up after we cock the weapon before going on a patrol. If you wander around with your dust cover open you soon get a slap round the back of the head from your section commander :)

  • @FureyinHD Shit, being serious? I was never taught that! What regiment are you in mate?

  • @Duga125 Forn sure. I was in REME up till last year, now I'm a humble civvy :)

  • @FureyinHD Nice one !

  • Rain washes off our face-camo. FUUUUCK!

  • Is it just me or does it seem like hes holding the gun the wrong way in these commercials?

  • @Holden599GTB

Not unless he's actually left-handed. Your stronger hand holds the front of the rifle so you have more control aiming.

  • @PhantomTrigger So if your right handed your pull the trigger with your left hand? I am right hand dominent and my right hand is my trigger finger. Im guessin its just the way hes carrying, kinda relaxed position.

  • @Holden599GTB

Gaah! Sorry. What I wrote was wrong. You use your stronger hand for the trigger. Both you and the marine in the commercial are holding it correctly. My bad.

  • @PhantomTrigger haha its all good. no worries

  • "royal marine comando state of mind" jajjaja brainwashing!! .... but its beauty! rain, patience, great vids

  • PRMC 15th June - Booyah!

  • These are outstanding ads. I'm not even British and that got me kinda pumped...

  • If it aint Snowing, we aint Going

  • Rain; the pinnacle of british weather.

  • fuckin yanks, commonwealth ftw

  • There goes the only black guy in Europe... =S =P

  • @Nlrvana99 You serious??, Visit London and then that will change your mind

  • @Nlrvana99 lets hope that guy makes it out...we need to look like we're not racist :P

  • @Nlrvana99 Sorry, havnt you seen England?

  • @xBenzi joking bro I know they're all over the place like roaches.... =S oops i just dissed them negros... jking =P

  • I'm a future U.S. Marine and I have to admit, you Brits are pretty bad ass! Can't wait to defend the western way of life with you boys!

  • @leadguitarCA Thank god for that... As soon as I saw the words "U.S. Marine" I was like "Are crap here we go again... Another yank about to give us a lecture on how the the U.S. Marines would woop our asses."

  • @leadguitarCA despite what the world may say you yanks are alright just dont go carrying on shooting us in the backside lol

  • @BritMarine101 You kidding me man? We support you guys 100% plus you guys have some pretty bad ass music. lol We aren't so bad really. Well the average everyday American. Just Obama and our government right now. Give us a few years and we'll be back on track. Semper Fi (USMC motto)

  • @leadguitarCA Finally, an american who doesnt bash on the British!

your a rarity you know that?

  • @ChazFoulstone Ehh, not really there's a bunch actually. They're called the Marine Corps lol But thanks man. Yeah but I'm going to be an infantry officer a few years from now.

  • @leadguitarCA yeh true, but alot of americans are always taking the mic out of our accents :L

    especially over xbox... ugh ¬¬

    well good with that :D

  • @leadguitarCA but these guys are commandos. Unless your a ranger or Recon.

  • @Freepepsi42 Yeah I'm thinking about going recon after I get a tour under my belt.

  • @leadguitarCA good luck. Try to become an officer, when you join. You will get less BS when your in, and it looks good when applying for Civilian jobs.

  • @Freepepsi42 that is exactly my plan, I'm a leader, there is no way that I'll be an enlisted guy.

  • @leadguitarCA

Good luck and stay alive! :)

  • @leadguitarCA for once a American who hasn't get his head up his ass, well done m8, keep up the gd work :)

  • @leadguitarCA You are NOT a future U.S. Marine, because you HAVE NOT EARNED THE TITLE. Your title is civilian, and will be civilian, Marine has no part of your title, until you have earned, that title. Don't take it personally, I tell everyone this.

    Semper Fi

  • @USMCMichaels You're right, I have not earned the title. But I am taking steps in my life to achieve my goal of being an officer. Thanks for your service man.

  • @leadguitarCA I really want to join the Royal Marines one day and I cant help but wonder what the Yanks are like out there. :)

  • @GAMINGgrungey Look us up, just as awesome as the brit marines. Hope to see you on the battlefield someday. Oorah.

  • @leadguitarCA Will do :)

  • @leadguitarCA 'Western way of life' aka Consume until there's nothing left and destroy in the persuit of cheap pointless shit.

  • rain; makes you freezing bloody cold and wet, not to mention gives away your position when it stops raining as your whole team becomes a vapour cloud...

  • Why does he use the gun group hand signal and they all stop patrolling? Insubordination I tell you.

  • @WhyYouJelly

It means hold position or Halt

  • @BadassRocknRoller In the movies it does, sure. In real life it's an open palm.

  • @WhyYouJelly

Yeah my bad if your on about the stop signal.

I dont know if he's in command of the guys there but judging from the screen play I think he's got a few more infront.

  • @wankersur1 don't come on here and take the piss or of our serving men and women you mother fucker!

  • Being a murdering wanker... it's a state of mind most don't want.

  • Comment removed

  • @wankersur1 you obviously don't know anything about the RMC.

  • @wankersur1

being a hippy dicksuck....its a state of mind WE dont want

  • I'm not gonna be a marine (I can't cuz i'm out the country) but i gotta admit that they got super tactics and a super B (Brilliant) thinking and ideas that you can apply anywhere and everywhere :D, super good videos :D

  • u notice how much more annoying rain is when it makes sound :P

  • Kick ass adverts!

  • Pride, Honour, Valiance does not keep you alive in combat, it is Mental and Physical Control to keep yourself cool when everything around you is chaos. Battle In The Mind: Trust, Brotherhood, Hunger, Cold, Fear, Ability, Patience and Strength is what you need to be above a Soldier. Trust, Brotherhood- Turn a Squad to a Family. Hunger, Cold, Fear, is what you will experience everyday,Fear Patience, is where a Man Cracks or Remains calm. It's a State of Mind.

(going to be joining RM/PARAS soon)

  • @btsfurbz go royal marines

  • @btsfurbz Good luck when im old enough im going to maybe think about training to be an officer it what i always wanted to do so 14 now but still many years to go but im hoping i will get there :|

  • i was more impressed at how highly defined that video was at only 360p

  • so im assuming 633336 is an american? well the european monarchy have been around since native americans were living in mud huts and hunting buffalo or what have you. many of the royal family are in the forces and the head of "the rifles" the largest infantry regiment in the british army is in fact the queen. numerous monarchs have been killed in battle many in very unfortunate ways, yes they didnt have the exact life of a "grunt" but respect for the crown is respect to your country and heritage

  • I fucking hate rain. Honestly its one thign that makes me think twice about joining, having to get soaked then try and get 4 hours sleep under a plastic sheet with wet feet and a shit sleeping bag.

  • @00JakeR00 you'll just have to embrace it. as they say, its a state of mind

  • @00JakeR00

you can also choose another service, maybe there is something else that may interest you. Technical is pretty cool too.

  • I love this advert.

  • Comment removed

  • If i was a Brit I would go into the Commandos.

  • @xXThermobaricXx only problem is that the training and selection process is infamous. RMCs are practically Special Forces.

  • Hong Kong army watch?v=dsylDBZ38_s

  • Rain keeps the British Royal Family, dry, fat and well-guarded while the rest of us minions join the military and die for them

  • @633336 how can rain keep someone dry?

Btw, you can't die for someone but you can fight for someone. Dying doesn't do anyone any good other than the enemy.

  • @N64isgreat So these folks are fighting for the Queen? Thats pathetic and sad. Long live the U.S. of A.

  • @633336 no, thats just what you said. They're fighting for the UK and NATO.

I think most people will agree that you last sentence is the definition of sad and pathetic.

  • @633336 Lol, it's better than fighting for God. At least the Queen and Country exist. For queen and country!

  • @633336 lol, moron, longest serving head of state in the world, respects and loves the armed forces, hell of alot better then spineless politicians, royalty go to war with their men. And as has already been said, you silly fuckers do it for "god", now thats pathetic.

  • @633336 oi, bellend, near enough every male in the royal family is part of the armed forces, prince harry went to afghan, more then obama and bush have managed, dry and fat, you dont know what the fuck you're talking about, silly little boy.

  • @sepiasilence lmao! royal family are royalty, and thus different than elected (truthfully or otherwise) citizens. Only Harry joined the forces, as a pilot of all things. Royalty dont die for citizens...its only common sense...commoners (as your royalty would say).

  • @633336 You're such a retard, you could at least google the subject before replying with such bollocks. Yeh, and our royalty have more integrity and are better people then our politicians, would much rather have them then stupid gutless men in suits.

No, William joined as a pilot, like prince Andrew who flew helicopters in the Falklands war. Harry is in the army, he served in Afghanistan alongside the men, go look it up, some American news website ruined it by reporting on it

  • @633336 And again you are wrong, Royalty have died alongside their men throughout history, unlike presidents and prime ministers they fight in the wars they start. Again, feel free to look it up before replying with more bullshit. You should try learning instead of just hating something for the sake of it, specially when you dont understand the subject

  • @sepiasilence i never denied royalty engaged (exclusively lightly/"in the rear") in conflicts. but truth is presidents and world leaders (politicians that is) and royalty usually do not want to be in the middle of it all, so to speak. but no doubt, the average politician has been in more serious roles than the average royalty. not that i revere pols or anything either.

  • @633336 again you are wrong, you didnt look harry up did you. From 100s of years ago, kings leading the battle from the front, to flying helicopters in hostile air space to fighting off taliban attacks and going on patrol, there is no at the rear about it. Most Royalty DO want to be in the middle of it, Harry had to fight his family, politicians and military commanders to get sent to afghan, where are you getting your info? They fight in wars the politicians start, war is tradition for them.

  • @633336 And just to add, your comment about more serious roles, while the queen has been on the throne she has seen 12 US presidents come and go, 15 during her life, she is the most experienced head of state on the planet and she remains thoughtful and considerate, she has devoted her entire life to promoting the UK and building foreign relations, Diana spent her life helping the less fortunate, Harry and William serve in the forces, they are not evil people as alot of Americans assume.

  • @633336 the same queen who got her hands dirty in ww2, the same queen who has met and dealt with de Gaulle, Eisenhower, Churchill, she is a wealth of knowledge and experience. Unlike "common" men and women, the Royal family refused to evacuate during ww2, wanting to show the people that the Nazis could not break the country, they stayed put despite heavy bombing, even if you dont like the idea of royalty a little respect is still deserved

  • if it aint raining , it aint training!

PRMC 1st Dec - bring it.

  • Good luck mate! :D

I heard they swapped the determination test and gym test 2 for the endurance course..

    DON'T GIVE UP!

  • they got rid of gym test 2 , and you now do the endurance course and then the determination test together was about 2 hours of cold wet pain lol

    passed though :)

  • Good for you... Then ye can go to Afghan and get blew up :)

  • thanks for your kind reply. but hopefuly i wont get blown up.

  • But ye more than likely will.. ye should of got a decent job

  • im guessing you have a decent job then to make such a comment.

  • well its better than the shitty army anyway

  • well thats funny , RMC are not part of the army. lol idiot.

  • Navy, Airforce samething their the armed forces still call them army. And how am i a idiot? Your the one in the army.. LOL

  • royal marines are the navys amphibious infantry. Apart from being an internet badman, what is your job? .. this should be a laugh.

  • Well anything is better than the army.. Id rather be on the dole than join the stupid army lol im a electrician ;-)

  • Comment removed

  • Whats "civivi" ? And how am I a "armchair warrior" ?

  • a "civi is the military term for civilian. and i called you a armchair warrior because you called the royal marines part of the army. which is retarded.

  • I'm a "armchair warrior" because i said that lol? Emm, Army, Airforce navy what ever..Whats your point? And learn what a "armchair warrior" is..Retard...

  • i know what an armchair warrior is. and am not retarded. your the retard for not understanding. an armchair warrior is a guy like you who starts rantin an raving about nothing on youtube. sort your life out

  • "im the retard" Ohhhhhh what a comeback. And you call me a retard LOL

  • fuck off you little cunt. show some respect for all service member. they at least do a job, not like you, siting at home jerking off to you sisters pic.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA andy lad hahaha

  • haha EYYY LIDD

  • I bet they probably do!

  • lol i wouldn't imagine that the rain is plentiful in afghanistan :P

  • Hahaha! Funny shit.

  • @andii194 as funny as it sounds you would be supprised how many unprofessional fighting forces dont go out in certain weather, in afghan the heat of the day usually puts a stop to things

  • Rain is our ally, rain hides our tacks and quenches our thirst....it is very fucking irritating.

  • rain makes you wet. hahahaha. i'd laugh if they said that.

  • Rain makes wet and dry routine completely pointless.

  • Rain moulds your beret

  • really enjoying these videos

  • If it aint Raining, it aint Training

  • @78thJune I agree ;D

  • @78thJune if it ain't snowing, muscles ain't growing

  • @78thJune what we say at marine cadets is if it aint snowin we aint goin

  • @78thJune

Royal Marines = Often wet job, always water near.
