I was totally unprepared fighting zeromus, but I was incredibly lucky. I used a 23 chain quickening twice, and I summoned Zalera... 3 times. And at the end of the battle there was only one person in my party standing. That my friend, is what I call luck.

use best armor possible. maximilians recomemnded or grand armor. of course go with all buffs possible before the fight.

Well done in killing this bad boy.. word of advice. can't you use phoenix downs on your reserve members while your 2 auto / gambit characters attack the boss??

I'm still amazed he's lvl 65, and this Esper is supposedly lvl 45 and yet he struggled. Still though, gotta hand it to him for that final close call. It looked he should call it a day, but then he reeled it in at the last possible moment. Bravo.

i just beat him today. it was so much fun! run around, avoid the Piercing Graviga as much as possible, get Pheasant Netsukes, buy X-Potions, and there you go!

The condemner is actually quite an easy boss if you are good with your items. The trick is to cast all your protect/bubble/regen etc spells on your party just before you go in to do battle with it, and then use good healing items when you start to take damage.

go 2 Mnt Bur-Omisasce and talk 2 the acolte by the entrance to the gran kiltias room...he will give u the stone of the condemner then u use the stone in the Stilshrine of miriams first room....go to the teleport thingy at the end of the room and it will take u 2 him!!!

you can buy x-potions for like 600(700?) on the leisure airship rides. And make sure to go in the battle fully buffed. I have never faught this guy! but I'll probably win with a lvl 73 group using barehands (they do 6500+ a hit normally) and i dont even have the accesory to raise dmg when unarmed.

I mean no offense, but at lvl 73, it's kinda overleved; you just have to watch out for ur HP, then it's gonna be quite easy...

Why is it that every time i summon this and try to use him all of his attacks including his overdrive takes 0 hp from enemys?

The damage he does depends on the difference between his actual HP and his maximum HP. Means: The less HP Zeromus has, the more damage he does. (Somehow reminds me of Auron's ultimate weapon...)

thats probably because the more hp auron has the more damage he does with his ultimate weapon.

@killiuminati because his hp has to be atleast max if u want to take advantage of him. His overdrive (better known as limit) does 5X damage of his full hp, thats why its recommended to have a character with a high amount of defence and hp and make sure they have the decoy spell cast on them, and doing all this will make zeromus quite useful

turlteplus5, you dont have to be at that level, you can be around level 45, but you must have good weapons,good armor, and a bubble belt or power armlet equipped. You must also have at leasy curaja for curing, and arise for reviving.

That problem with fighting Zeromus though, is you can't use magic so cures wont work. You can use mists though. Probably good to have a bubble belt and set your allies gambits to revive any fallen character with Phoenix Down, then set them to give potions or hi-potions to characters with low HP. If you're this far, you should have enough potions to help and not use them all up. n.n I just kicked this guy doing that. Also finally killed Pylraster. I hated him really alot. x.x

So you defeated it with quickenings. I killed it at level 43 without using them. You don't need to be all that powerful, just use your skills. I've already beaten the game twice since I last looked here. Tell me, have you even been able to defeat Chaos? Or Zodiark for that matter? You are a n00b for calling others trying to have fun one not to mention poor spelling. He got it done. That's all that matters in the game. There is no n00b in video games you idiot. Just use reflect and an opal ring.

@kurzuna44 Well, let's see. That would depend on your level and skills, he is hard if you go in unprepared. Try casting all of your defence magics like Bravery, protect, shell, haste and regen before entering the fight. You can't recast them, but it gives you a nice edge at the start, use them on your back-up team as well. Set your gambits to just revive fallen characters with Phoenix Down, and if you really need to, set Hi-Potions to heal once your characters get to 50%.

@kurzuna44 Part two: Also, bubble is useful eventhough he does do more damage, you're less likely to be instantly annihilated. His Gravija is dodgable too, if you run around a lot and get lucky. I'm not sure if this will work, as I've never tried it, but try using a Nihopalaoa(an accessory) and toss a remedy at him. Don't hit yourself with the remedy with that on or you'll be in huge trouble. I haven't used it on bosses/espers before, but if it works, you canhit him with some status effects. =)

Yo guys i killed ZeroMus all lvl 39 characters. Gambits Ally status KO:Phoenix down. Any:Ally Hp less than 40% X potion(all lvls of potion lore learnt)

Use high physical damage characters for the quickenings. X potions can be bazzared for using behemoth steaks after getting the knight monograph. Behemoths found in girvugen(dunno how ta spell) place. PS: quickenings are based on strength i think.

you must talk to an acolyte in bur-omisace and then go to the stilshrine to fight zeromus.

for zodiark, you need 10 espers and must defeat a mark called "the mind flayer". then you can find zodiark in the henne mines.
