  • Comment removed

  • listen up copo!

  • love the eyes at the beginning. 0:27

  • gret work. the acting by the father was terrific. hope to see more of your productions!

  • 1 more quest, how did u do that flickering screen at 6.17. (is it something that can be done with twitch?

  • @sugars01 This was done simply in FCP by overlaying the same clip with increased scaled and using a white color matte for the flash.

  • can i use this story line for my school project?

  • and what did you use for your pristine sound?

  • @bungfoon Thanks a sennheiser 416 mic and an SQN mixer. But the real magic was done in audio post by my talented colleague

  • damn! how did you get your blood to look like that?

  • @bungfoon Thanks corn flour golden syrup blue and red food coloring. Sticky but realistic!

  • NICE TRACKING SHOT @ 2:35...DAVID AND WARREN...TWO THUMBS WAY UP!

  • VERY NICE WORK, nice dof on the gun barrel shot...wow!

GIVE US MORE...what physical gear did you use, lights, glass, filters, your go to lens, glide cam looks...(I haven't checked to see if you have a behind the scene for this, if you do I’ll check it out) You really have a wonderful eye...keep up the great work, just got a GH2 a few weeks ago, trying to adjust, I've been shooting with Sony EX3's but they're so heavy and bulky for run and gun- exterior shots...you're an inspiration :o)

  • @PHarmonyNetwork Thank you for your kind comments we used:

    Lenses: FD 50mm f/1.4, FD 35mm f/2, Panasonic 20mm f1.7 & 14-140 kit lens

Filters: Polaroid ND variable polarising filter

Grip: Hague track and dolly, Gini Rig/follow focus & Wondlan stabiliser

Lights: Mostly LED hand bashers and arri 650 lights.

Without a shadow of a doubt the FD 50mm f/1.4 if my favourite most multi purpose lens!

  • @RossMediaProduction Excellent work...! Makes me rue some of my recent decisions... hoping I'm not too far deep into the Pentax game... that I may not be able to revert.

BTW... the FD 50mm you mention, did you need to use an adapter for that..? Did it hamper aperture control...?

  • @JazzyB833 Thank you, I used a cheap pixco adapter FD to M43 from eBay and use the aperture on the lens no issues works perfect.

  • amazing work..

  • Loved the video! I'm about to buy this camera and this convinced me even more that I'm making the right choice. Keep up the good work.

  • impressive! Good work...

  • Great work and great effort. Kudos to you, cast, and crew.

  • Great job man.

  • right through the vest............

  • I'm surprised how good this cam is and your vid. really has it.

  • Well done! Very well done

  • WOW... very professional.... :]

  • I've to admit GH2 looks really cinematic

  • good stuff. i think the female was particularly good, she probably raised the bar too high for me, because no other actor really matched her IMHO. I was drooling over the effects and scene composition. the script was a bit underworked but it dont matter, the story was told well and never a dull moment. your sound was also amazing and gives me something to work toward even though my mic is nowhere near as good. for a two man crew...respect.

  • @ChoppywoodPictures Cheers for your comment mate, its appreciated.

  • this is pretty good mate, what are your impressions on the panasonic af100? I'm still debating whether to go ahead with the gh2 or af100.

  • @toriigatedigital The AFs are great cameras and they have optical low pass filters to reduce aliasing noise. They also have built in ND and professional features such as peaking and XLR inputs. However its is crippled by its codec which is limited to 24mpbs. The GH2 is now capable of a 176mbps Intraframe codec with the hack. In my opinion for the money the GH2 will actually give you better quality. Invest the extra money in glass such as the Nokton 25mm 0.95 hyperprime.

  • what editing software did you use for this?

  • @bloodyhandstudios Final Cut Pro 7, After Effects CS5, Nuke and Pro Tools.

  • Is the gh2 hacked ?

  • @ULProduct1ons Yes it was shot on the standard 42mbps hack.

  • haha i laughed my ass off at the beginning. This is great. Kept me watching too. Especially the facial expressions haha well done

  • what settings did you have the camera in?

  • @soooopercooooper Hi camera was in cinema mode 24p fully manual and the colour profile was set to smooth all -2

  • Thanks for your comments guys!

  • Amazing short film the best I've seen , love the directors camera angles

  • Great job everyone. Everything was well done. Congrats to you all.

  • oh my gosh...seriously great editing and after effects! I'm about to buy this camera, how'd you like it? was it easy to work with for video? I'm a film student. =)

  • Thank you we used an SQN field sound mixer with a Sennheiser 416 shotgun mic. Not cheap but sounds great!!

  • This is amazing! I was really impressed with the sound as well, what kind of mic / sound setup did you guys use? keep up the great work!

  • Haha! This is just.. GREAT ! Awesome work guys!

  • hey mate, this is very serious film ukno, well done

  • Thanks we used:

    Panasonic 20MM f/1.7

    Panasonic 14-140mm f/4 - 5.6

    Canon FD 35mm f/2

    Canon FD 50mm f/1.4

    Cheers
