it was an interesting idea. he was gonna set up peace parties in every nation and run for offices everywhere as one spread peace nation throughout the world.
unfortunately, like all things lennon, it petered out the second they couldn't agree on doing a big peace concert in Canada and the fact that Elvis failed to return his calls pissed him off and the whole grand scheme of Int'l Peace Party was forgotten.
lennon then dabbled into UFOs and eventually succumbed to heavy boozing in LA.
