That guy said he was the top all around defenseman in the NHL which is ridiculous considering there are guys like Lidstrom, Chara, Weber, Phaneuf, etc. that can play defense much better than Markov but still produce a lot offensively.
Did you watch Phaneuf last year?? He had an awful year. I'm sorry but Markov is one of the best all around defensemen in the NHL I watched Weber last year and I don't think he plays much better than Markov like you said.

You are aware the Canadiens have the largest fanbase in the league, followed closely by Boston and Toronto, respectively.
When Vancouver gets half as many fans, you let me know. Even when the Habs come to Vancouver there is a sea of red.
Plus, Montreal swept Vancouver in the season series this year.
