This song just DRIPS of venom. It's anger, frustration, and resent all perfectly packaged together with a ribbon and a card that simply reads "Fuck you". A brilliant opening track to a brilliant album.
This just goes to show, you don't fuck with Freddie Mercury.
i believe this song was written about a business in Boca Raton, FL; it is probably illegal to tell you the name but all I can say is, before you hire anyone especially to have access to your home, check not only the BBB but reviews on TrustLink and any other sites you can!!What a nightmare!

@amanders222 Uhh, I think you mean Cee Lo Green's song, f*** you, cause "forget you" is a horrible version of that song anyway. And yes, Death on Two Legs is THE BEST F*** You song EVER.
@beantownbig3 I've changed my mind. I've listened to this song several times now and I like the intro. I don't like the editing of it though. For example: How Freddie's voice is low and then suddenly loud. I'm referring to "You suck my blood like a leach part"
Totally awesome is QUEEN. Even from back in the late 60s when they were college buds playing ORIGINAL rock music at frat parties, local pubs & whatnot...in fact, QUEEN is the ONLY rock band that can boast that ALL 4 members are actual college graduates, majoring in music which, explains THE GREATEST ROCK BAND OF ALL TIME. Sorry but, it's true - the Stones, Zeppelin, Boston, Rush - you name 'em - NONE of them can compare to the virtuosos that are QUEEN!! Only the Beatles can MAYBE come close!
PRETTY sure they didn't all major in music. Actually, I don't think any of them did. Also, I can't tell at ALL that your favoritist band ever, who you'd probably drop your panties for, is Queen. You don't let it show at all.

Woke up with this song in my head this morning... out of the blue, for no 'reason'. Recall is such a funny, random thing.
I must be about the same age as the dude who said that he (like me) wore this LP out in the middle school days. Ditto, Bro. Back then we called it Jr. High. LoL. =)
Death on two legs, actually the whole album, still stands the test of time. Used to play this LP over and over again when I was in middle school years ago. Great FU song to a management team that was sucking this band dry back in the day. The band didn't even have money for basic living expenses and were in debt at the time. RIP Freddie.
@darrylg1963 you know I'm fine with you having your own opinion..but when u call me names, your just making urself look stupid and it errodes whtever ur point ur trying to make
So glad I grew up in the 70's and had a chance to see Queen live..... ! It was an Amazing ride!!...Freddie Mercury a voice that was perfect.....a sexy, beautiful soul I miss his presence ...Brian May, guitar master,Brilliant song writer, ,Roger Taylor amazing drums and that falsetto! John Deacon wrote some of Queens most memorible songs ,great bass player .....every album blew me away, the way their voices just complimented each other perfectly!! and no synthesisers!! Love this song!!
This; Death on Two Legs by Queen, "Hit Em' Up" by 2pac, and "Ether" by Nas are some of the best retaliation songs made in musical History. Hah, I wonder what Mozart or Beethoven would come up with, had they ever found themselves in a beef. :D
I can really relate to this song right now. The way my job is treating me, I feel like saying "Now You Can Kiss My Ass Goodbye". This song fits the way I'm feeling right now. People at my work are assholes!
Hahaha Queen's most dirtiest song and by dirty I mean using the word ass. This band didn't need to curse to be what they are today. Never won a grammy either. This band is the real deal.
@jobreton Yeah, Right? I can relate to that. Although I dedicate this to my bosses at my job I just lost this week. But now, they can Kiss My Ass Goodbye!
I guess Freddie's hatred of Sheffield wasn't completely purged with "Flick of the Wrist". Just as well because without it we would never have gotten this brilliant "fuck you" letter. Of course, the ultimate "fuck you" came as Queen rolled out hit after hit; I'll bet Sheffield wanted to hang himself more than once for being such a short sighted and greedy son of a bitch.
@arouska Yeah, Man, I hear ya!!! These 8 people can Kiss My Ass Goodbye too. How the hell can you even have a "Dislike" Button on such a Fucking cool song like this, anyway?
@lisamconveyness Hahaha I know that feeling. Lately I've spent so many hours listening to Queen, and yet the more I listen to them, the more I WANT to listen to them. It's amazing, just amazing ^^
@joemegaded I agree! If you also listen to "Flick of the Wrist" that's the other 'angry' song I like.... He should have written more angry songs because they were amazing! LOL ;)
In my opinion this the best LP from queen. It was this song that caught my attention to buy this LP cos it was the 1st track on this album and i was convinced already.
Honestly, if I were going to fit 20 songs into a greatest hits for queen, well I'ed probobly fail bevause a night at the opera alone has about 4 or 5 songs that deserve to be in it. Then again, the majority of queen albums would probably have that same number as well.
i love this song out of all the queen songs i seem to always come back to this one...i think this cd is the most played out of my other queen cd's...i love how the song starts with the piano it gives me shivers everytime and i dont know why and than theres freddies voice it sounds so deep in this song i love it
I am so serious when I write this...I have never heard anything more interesting and beautiful than this, (and many other Queen songs). But it is this song and that intro that literally makes the hairs on my arms stand on end and I literally shiver all over. I will forever be sad that I missed seeing Queen and Freddie in concert. I was born in '78. I missed all of the good times of the 70s and into the early 80s.
My ex was one of the 8 people to dislike this song.
