Yeah f*ck Highlander! Christopher Lamberts true legacy will always be fortress! Its probably one of the most interesting, albeit demented and pervy film in the whole science slash action genre. I remember being vastly entertained by this film, although I didn't clock Bennett until just now!

The Maddox issue wasn't an oversight. The Warden (aka Red Foreman, aka Clarence Boddicker) even tells Z.E.D. that Maddox is dead but she doesn't listen to him because she's a machine and is lame. Jeffrey Combs is one of the best character actors ever! So is Vernon Wells, actually, but he seemed to get typecast as villainoids. Then again, Jeffrey Combs sorta got typecast as psychodo0bie type characters (Herbert West, Milton Dammers, etc.) -- including but not limited to mad scientists.

@IggyHazard yes Clarence Boddicker does tell Zed that Maddox is dead I think the reason zed referred to Maddox as alive is I guess the intestinator which Maddox had and Brennick used to blow the hole in the escape route was obviously "programmed" to be Maddoxe's or something so whenever the main computer would look at a prisoner it could tell their name through their intestinator. I guess It really don't matter a lot lol!

Good dumb fun, just what every action movie should be. I know everyone's said it but yes, Bennet is Great, funniest cheesy villain ever. Great Review, a good indictment of cheesy action movies. 10/10
