Love, love, love your post. You have to have the most upbeat, positive, glass half full attitudes that i've ever seen. You've helped me along my natural journey as well. Natural B-day Jan. 31, 2009
Hi, Autumn! (not sure if I spelled that right) I still think you're twist are awesome. I'm fighting joining the 100day challenge just to see what my hair will do on it's own. (only been 'natural' 1 month), but everyone makes it look like it's great! I think I'll do it after my 6 month naturalversiary. You're so awesome! I know people think that's wierd at times, but I prefer to say what i think and i think you won't take it the wrong way, lol
i seem to be the only one with this issue....but when i do these twists my real hair unravels out of the twists after about a week. :( any suggestions?
What do you do about the stench of the apple cider vinegar? When I washed my hair with it about a month ago, my boyfriend kept telling me throughout the day that he couldn't smell anything but the acv!
I love your hair...I'm going to braid my hair in twists for the first time (I usually get it done by the african women in harlem). I wanted to know if the Black and gold brand feels soft or rough. My current twists do not feel natural but I know some brands of synthetic hair actually feel really nice and "acts" like natural hair without the price tag. I think I may check out the Janet brand of hair...
"...try as much as possible to be wholly alive, with all your might, and when you laugh, laugh like hell, and when you get angry, get good and angry. Try to be alive. You will be dead soon enough." -William Saroyan.
Question: Is it okay to deep condition braids or twists? and If you can recommend a certain shampoo to use while the hair is in bradis or twists what would you recommend?
I wouldn't deep condition but I'm not too sure, I don't think it's necessary for me when my hair is in twists. I don't use shampoo... I have Giovanni's Smooth as Silk but I don't use that very often.
ur beautiful
