This actually HASN'T been patched I don't think. The reason why is because I encountered this bug 3 TIMES in 2010. It just MIGHT be patched now... but don't get ALL hopes up.

that happened to me twice, i did manage to get rlly far into the land but the serpent thingy came out of the ground and ate me! i had to delete the whole game, and it kept happening, so i had to reinstall spore >:(

its a cool glitch but you cant rlly evolve anymore cause all the creatures on land and monster is there, ask ppls at spore support also dont increase the t lvl if your in space and you have another game in creature, 2 things can happen: you cannot play on anyof em cause it says error and the second one is that you can play but you cant evolve either way it sucks

My creatures end up starving but sometimes some fruit rolls into the water! I turned my creatures in fish and they migrated onto land and I was left behind in the water because the stupid sandworm eats me! 0_O

my friend had dat problem. now i tink the new patch fixed it. it wouldve been cool if there was nests of other creatures and food and stuff underwater. like a underwater game. and originally they were gonna let u put colonies in space stage underwater but idk why they took that out. would make sense cause the colonies have bubbles around them on unstable T1 planets and T0 planets

Maybe you could use this glitch to make an aquatic creature. You could make a creature that looks like a fish or a plesiosaur and be aquatic that way. You could eat by preying on creatures that come close to the shore.

I had a glitch after playing enough of the beginning of the Creature Stage that I ended up appearing on a high platform near the sea, so my creature didn't appear from the water depths. Instead, he appeared on top of the nest, and so he was already at the nest.  The others that followed him, however, came from the water and ran up the steep cliffs.
