  • Australians talk too much. Timor is still a poor country until today. You aussies only pretend to care about the people but in fact all you care about is timor's resources. What a bunch of hypocrites

  • I like the movie. It shows exactly how criminal Indonesian were. Indonesian are killer, thirsty of blood.

  • I'm absolutely agree with you Tom about how brutal Soeharto regime was, and I also believe what that movie told us about, it's true that our TNI oftenly become savages, look at what they've done in 1998 incident, that was their finest masterpiece yeah by slaughtering my unfortunate fellow college students.... so fuckin' barbaric way of what they called "regaining control of national security" that was so fuckin' lame excuse...

  • Everybody can got killed in a war. If they know the risk, go head. Then if they can come back home safely, thank to God. If they got the risk, RIP. That's the rule of war.

  • tentra ustali yg bunuhin rakyat iraq dan afgan filmin juga dong...

  • i went to the premiere last nite and the film is mind blowing. THere is something overwhelming about knowing that the rest of the world can finally hear of the troubles of my peoples past. They certainly did very well with the movie and the portrayals. Viva Timor Leste.

  • What is it to celebrate about ? E. Timorese are still poor after the Australian move in.

  • I don't think Shackleton, Rennie and the others were foolhardy, just in the wrong place at the wrong time. One of the cameramen had filmed under fire in South Vietnam so they weren't wholly ignorant of the realities of war reporting. Also they had reason to think being foreign nationals might save them because their respective governments were Cold War allies of Indonesia. That of course, underestimates how brutal the Suharto junta was
