I would go with maybe Tyne valley route. Carlisle to Newcastle express or maybe to Sunderland but don't ask me, this is the wrong production. Thats your bussiness =p
On a final note, me and Woolybak8 came close to being bowled at Wrexham; the charter was due to come through just as a service to Cardiff/Birmingham was arriving in the opposite direction. But as luck would have it, the 59's passed through first, with the Coradia or 158 (Wooly might be able to confirm it) arriving a few moments later.
I've only got photographs of the charter and the trains at Chester; look out for a photo montage coming later on. Cheers.
Me and the basher went to Wrexham for it, amazing thing it was. Just like a shed really, but different bogies and about a million kg worth of Clag to go with it. we came in on the 158 at 8:33 so we were both in Chester at the same time as you.
Well done Brad, smashing footage. 5* Shame that Woolybak8 and I must've missed you; we were at Wrexham General for the 59's and the Dee Marsh steel, then we got off at Chester on the 158 (working the Birmingham New Street service) and went for a drink in the forecourt. Nevermind, hope to see you in person soon.
They where class 59's not 66. And really i know they were coming through, thats why i changed it frim Manchester to Chester. I would have gone to Chester next week.
