@ImaLanger Hi Mike....Yes it was a vary hard thing to leave our precious son, his wife, our grand daughter and our married grand daughter , her husband and our new great grandson. The problem is we will probably never be able to afford to make another trip. Its 1500 miles and with gas so high it cost a lot of $. To answer your question it is about a 5 day journey......... Doug....=)
@LaJYankee yes Theresa, it is only about 35 miles to Canada from Kettle Falls. We followed Hwy. 395 all the way home. It is a beautiful route. We hit a lot of high winds near Susanville Ca. and all large trucks and RVs were ordered to stop traveling untill they subsided. We pulled into a nice little campground and rode out the storm. Then we hit a big snow blizzard north of Bishop Ca. Overall we had a great trip. Doug....=)
