No good! You can see how much pressure she had to use to cut the sponge by how much it compressed. With a properly sharpened knife you should see no compression in the sponge it should just be sliced cleanly by even less than the weight of the blade. Also, cutting on a steel counter top is a great way to dull the knife all over again ... idiotic.

Everyone prolly understand that this product is crap, if your looking for a good and reasonably priced sharpener then get the spyderco sharpmaker, extremely easy to use and without any sharpening experience you should be able to cut hair after your first use.

It doesnt even require stupid honing oils, only wash the grinding stones after alot of use and your good to go.
