Freak hen jumping up and down. Audio effects have been much amplified by the wrestling type of floor mat. Ask him to pound onto concrete or stone tiles and he will cripple his own feet.
I take lessons from Master Cheng. It's truly puzzling being thrown by him (I've had the fortune many times). More impressive is his very subtle short movements by which he hits his opponent. Pushing his hands forward just a couple inches and hitting my chest has thrown me many steps back, with force and chest pain I cannot explain physically.
It doesn't look like he's putting forth much effort but once you feel it skepticism becomes curiosity which after a few sessions for me became admiration and enthrallment. This video is of a rare master who's perfectly human and obtained extraordinary wisdom about tai ji. I won't even get into the depth of his meditation.
Hello....I was wondering if you know how Master Cheng was throwing his opponent. I was trying to see the specific physical application but was unable. Was he using jing to manipulate him?
Actually he borrows most of the energy from his opponent. He's very very skillful, and he can generate a lot, and I mean, A LOT, of force/momentum if necessary, despite his age. Sometimes, you just don't have any choice but throwing yourself to avoid having your arm or wrist broken. He can disappear the ground beneath my feet with ease (I'm 190 lbls and well trained in Karate/Judo). I wish I could be back to Houston to take lessons from him again.

So he is a disciple of Chen Zhaokui and the 19th generation master? If only Chen Zhaokui is still around!

Master Cheng is wonderful, one of the best Taj Ji masters who posses Taiji Jing.

Master Cheng is in Houston, Texas. I used to take lessons from him while I was living there. He really is a great teacher.

Master Cheng is just the same as master Wang Xian. The Taiji Jing is know by very few, I mean very few masters now.. So sad.
But at least Master Cheng posseses that and to learn from him is great..
