The thing is that Noel is the songwritter of Oasis and sang a few of these songs in the past and Liam was the singer and the SHOWCASE in the band I think the whole fuss around the band was made by Liam .With his atidute to reporters and his statement for Lenon he made Oasis the band that everyone will talk about.

But now that Liam's voice is gone

Noel is the head of the band even if he is left he carries Oasis with him

he seems pretty damn good to me and a couple of millions of others. and yes, noel did make oasis a better band musically, but the attitude... well, it came from liam mostly. also as the strong voice and the charisma. btw, recently liam's penned some fuckin great tunes, man. anyway, i'm gonna say what every fuckin fan says about oasis- liam and noel BOTH make oasis what they are. and i'm more than sure, that oasis WILL carry on, but with noel, coz man, he's commin back for sure.

It was all downhill from this point on. This is the pure Oasis. Not the "cool" oasis. Original vibe, just being themselves, some working class nobodies from Manc. Like the early Beatles were awkward and real and the world loved their honesty and courage. After this it became a band of rock cliches; haircuts, groupies, drugs, tantrums and infighting. Awesome track which defines the spirit of the 90's.
