@heeroshin1 college starts in late Augest, so I won't get my refund check until September. as soon as my new system is up and running, I will be finishing this walkthru and hopefully starting on another.
It's MHF2, You don't see a cat companion on the screen, do you? Both MHF2 and MHFU have a lot of the same quests but MHFU extends more into end game quests.

two ways:
Research - Using gamefaqs guides or Monster hunter Wiki
Luck - Try and find what you have lots of materials to make and start building.

Rustones, but most of your weapons are looking thru the weapon list and making which ever looks good.
