I'm not sure what Ohba's reasoning behind Matt's character was. Although the fan base has expressed Matt very nicely, and not MelloxMatt has almost been turned into canon in a sense. According to Wikipedia's article on Matt, Ohba said that he created Matt because when Mello started to act alone Ohba believed that he would find difficulty in advancing the story unless Mello had a character to interact with.

Honestly, I haven't watched Death Note in so long... I can't remember exactly why. I think Light told her to do it under certain circumstances. It's probably best for you to watch the series to find out, though.
Well actually, she really just killed Mello. Matt died by gunfire, which even though it was related to Takada (in which Matt created a diversion, leading to the chase that caused his death) Takada never killed him directly. Although it was related to her comepletely... the best thing to say is:
"I hate Kiyomi Takada... she killed off Mello, and got Matt killed in the process as well."

Beautiful video! I loved it! I just have one question. What all doujinshi did you use? Also, if you just found the pics, that's fine too. It's more that I recognized scenes from Pink Sniper (I think they were from that anyways), but I didn't know all of them. I'm always looking for more Matt/Mello doujin to read, hehe...yeah, sorry for the long question...forgive me... ^^;

Honestly, I haven't watched Death Note in so long... I can't remember exactly why. I think Light told her to do it under certain circumstances. It's probably best for you to watch the series to find out, though.

Well actually, she really just killed Mello. Matt died by gunfire, which even though it was related to Takada (in which Matt created a diversion, leading to the chase that caused his death) Takada never killed him directly. Although it was related to her comepletely... the best thing to say is:
"I hate Kiyomi Takada... she killed off Mello, and got Matt killed in the process as well."
(Not being rude, I'm just saying... :3)

It's a tedious process... try looking around YouTube for guides. Really good video editors sometimes like to post their tips and tricks on the subject.

And it was pretty much a video editing experiment... I'm still trying out different methods to see what I'm comfortable with so pardon if this raped your vision at all. I'm getting better at flash-less stuff too so theres something you can probably look foreword to.
