  • tinerella, yes there will be a lot of changes for awhile, but it will get better. i just added cytomel to my synthroid. i have no idea why they don't do this to begin with! you might want to insist on it. there is no reason why they shouldn't and i feel better with it!! your body has to convert the T4 into T3 so adding cytomel (t3) helps the hypo symptoms.

  • Hello, I have also taken this pill for my problem.. Hyperthyroid I was diagnosed with graves disease a few weeks ago.. it was such a shock for me ..but I am having it taken care of ..so far I feel ok.. my DR says I will feel a change . I do already..its not bad..sme days I fel better than others. but I have faith . I hope the best for you . God bles Thank you for putting your videos up here..

  • Really thankful for your videos. Somehow I missed this one before my RAI. How are you doing now? You are 9 months ahead of me in your journey. Is it all behind you? I hope you are feeling great. I am currently in day 3 of 5 of my isolation but there are so many conflicting sources of info. The Nuc Med Tech laughed when I told him I put plastic down. He said it was unnecessary.

  • @TheDuffstuff My sister works in the Nuc med department, so i did my research. They get callused and careless, i think by being around it so much. Be careful not to contaminate yourself when you clean your bathroom. you must use gloves and lots and lots of water etc... to get rid of it. That is what my sister told me. Now is the time to eat lots of lemons and sour candies!! very important to cleanse out the salivary glands!! keep the saliva flowing. :)

  • @TheDuffstuff i do need to make an update video. will do that soon. i am doing pretty good, but it has been a journey. make sure you keep track of all your test and records yourself. you will get better care if you learn to manage it yourself and understand what is going on with your body. let me know how you are doing.

  • Thanks for the info...

  • my sister in law is going to have her thyroid removed on the 16th and she has 15 nodulars, I think they are called and a goiter to be all removed at once...she is so nervous.
