  • I agree that there is the error in the series wound motor. But there is no error on the slide about compound wound motor.

    Oh yes there is. Total current is correct, but I2 is not.

  • Good graphics. Pitty about the errors. In series motors, I(Total)=I(Series)=I(Armature) not I(Total)=I(series)+I(armature)­. Same error on slide about compound motors.

  • i think this is interresting. I've studdied electronics but never really understoot how brushed dc motors work. Would have wanted this on school. Good explanation. Damn "stil image" books. Thank you
