Firefighters, paramedics, and policemen.... who answered the call on September 11th 2001... and with hell raining down all around them... they swallowed their fear and disbelief... gathered their gear, climbed those stairs... ultimately most of them to their death, to try and save innocent lives, and do their job. I remember where I was...it was second grade. I was in school. When I got home I saw my mom crying and I never really understood why but it was cause my uncle worked in the Pentagon and he was stuck in traffic when the plane hit but she didnt know.
i still remember when that happened was sitting my front step having a joint when my m8 shouted from his house over the road telling me about it and it was all over the news i ran back in the house and turned it on about 40 secs b4 the second plane hit and i was stuck like glue all day. Even though i am in Scotland and have no real ties to the states i was still shocked and stunned with what i was seeing. R.I.P to all those that lost there lives that day. And sorry for any ones loss

@bokabeed I WAS thinking I'd like to see how the characters we knew reacted to it, but when you think about it, it would have been a bad idea for two reasons:
1. How do you get the set? do you send cameras and actors to ground zero when its still smouldering? that would not have gone down well I'd imagine.
2. We already saw in the real life reactions of the FDNY etc the best of humanity there was no reason to act it out.

His wife was away when it happened but Mr Spearwell lost 3 fingers and a good chunk of his cheek bone looking for survivors on the 14th. He only does admin stuff now. His 11yr daughter plays with my niece all the time so we visit now and then. The pictures he has from ground zero and the blocks around that area are unreal.
I live just below you in Airdrie Alberta Canada and my math teacher was the tarmac in New York. He could see the towers from the plane. Saw the whole thing. He had some relatives or something that were FDNY. There's a tribute to that day in my old school, Bert Church High School. The story he had, though not like that of ground zero, still powerful.

I can't name another country, 'cause you can't compare them like that. If you doesn't count World War 2, when have another country then needed help?, and the only reason USA came to the rescue, was that the war were beginning to effect them.

Kuwait? Hah, don't forget that the weapons Saddam Hussien used under the the invasion of Kuwait, came from the US, and it was FN who leaded the attacks.
What have we done in Afghanistan? Eight years have passed, and we can't even find one man.
You only interest ind the Berlin wall, was to reunite Germany and gain more influrence. Good damnit, you still got american bases there.
America is a great country on many ways. Just not when it comes to military.

Kuwait isnt under Saddam, Afghanistan is under the Taliban, and families were reunited after the wall came down. And how many Africans r still alive because of America. Ur just an America hater who will look for the bad in anything. If ur country was attacked who would they run to? We both know the answer to that. Denmark...what the fuck has Denmark ever done? U go around talking shit about America but u would be speaking German right now if it werent for the US military. No army on this planet could stand up to us , and we both know that. As far as asking for help...Europe wants to sit back and tell us how to run things but dont want to get their hands dirty.
