  • Teamhawk.org doesnt work? I presume he's fully retired now?

  • I trained for the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon with a job and 3 kids. I trained at night and lived on 4-5 hours of sleep a night for 8 months straight. 5 hour Energy Shots are the way to go, my friends. (;

    Great video!

  • great

  • Long rides costing $50??!? you must be spending too much time in the coffee shop son! You wanna ride in france for a bit mate and do 7 hours on water.

You can do a good time on whatever kit you have!

  • Does this guy have a job? Or does he just train all day? Must be nice.

  • @xplund watch the video more careful

  • @Kadishona I saw enough of it. He's probably a computer guy or something and works at home.

  • This is gonna be me in 10 years! this guy is a beast

  • thats why you need a sponsor otherwise you are screwd

  • Dude, you are overusing your body.

  • motivation fokus

  • lol they are not only vitamin supplements don t try to fool us :D But even tho it s not only vitamin, the fact that you burn the stuff you take while training is less dangerous for the health.

I wonder when you did nap during the day? you don t talk about that.

  • somehow we have to combine M.Phelps, Lance and Gebreselassie, it would be the ultimate IRONMAN

  • @raoulhery i dont think michael phelps is that fast in long ocean swins just my opinion dont troll....

  • what are those pills for MR Hawker???

  • **you have to be pro**

  • they never train 6-8 hours a day dum*ba*s. Even not the MMA guys. Between 4 and 5, 6 days a week.

I have a lot of time to train, but no sponsors so i dont really compete and earn money with that...so time isn t only what it takes. Don't worry, i imagine almost every day that i am the type of guy who would only train as a living. Go have to be pro, that s all.

  • well, what it really takes is time. Imagine training 6-8 hours a day instead of going to work...I'd love it

  • that is pretty cool bud

  • what does it take to be an ironman?? ...it takes a lot of money...to buy those nutriments, supplement, be able to eat well and a lot (like 3000-5000 calories per day) buy wet suit worthing 700$ etc etc..

  • Comment removed

  • @jeromed2 hahaha my mom did it in college with barely any money and no supplements and won the womens' division of the Alcatraz triathlon with no wet-suit in sub 50 degree water, so I would not say you need to be rich... but it does help a lot haha

  • @DoctorDragoMusic That's awesome!!!!

  • @jeromed2 ye, but think of all the money you save by not having a social life : )

  • Wow! That's alot of time spent working out.

  • nice training, harmonic and healthy body with not much pulling weights!!!

  • lol 8 pancakes.

i took up running 2 months ago. i run about 42 miles a week and eat ten times of what i use to eat. glad to see im not alone.

  • if i have no sponsor, and im only 17.... by the time im 18 do you think ill have saved up enof to enter the ironman?-- and dont forget all the training ill be doing.. thats 1 year of training also... ive done 1 marathon when i was 16 but im looking for more of a "rush" and "excitement" or "glory" in my life... please help

  • "the ironman" Which one? there isn't just one.

  • depends how much you're working, i'm 18 and did an ironman a month ago, I needed about $4000 and I was only trying to finish, wasn't aiming for a good time, only did 14:47. It really depends if you want to finish of if you want to do well. If you want to do well you will probably want a better bike, wetsuit etc. but you'll also need more food during training and energy gels, bars and drinks can cost a lot of money, some of my long rides cost $50

  • @jimmeea Hey buddy, just saw your comment, fair play to you doing an ironman!!! Its a serious achievement. I did a marathon when i was 18 and one when i was 19 and because of doing it so young i got a chronic injury lasting years. Your really young to be doing it, Id recommend working with your fast twitch fibres now while your young.... I now concentrate on sprint tris. If you keep doing IMs fair play to ya, your doing great. But be really careful! Hope this helps!

  • @percdann i was talking to a guy who's gone sub 9 and he came from a running background and said that physically, a fresh marathon is probably more damaging than an IM so i'm not doing another fresh marathon. He also recommended that if i wanted to do IM again at my age i should train as if the run was only 10k so for the next few years i'm just working on getting my swim under 1 and ride under 5:30, that way when i want to start going fast when i'm 25ish, i'll only have to worry about the run

  • @jimmeea That would not surprise me at all, its the weightbearing impact of the run thats so damaging, and if your tired (from swim and bike) there would be less intensity in each step i spose, so i can definitely see your point! Thats definitely the kind of way id do myself....the run is soo damaging!! Happy racing! Hope you manage your goals!

  • @foolproof8 Its hard to be an ironman at a young age. Dont jump in the deep end and do a full ironman. Start with an olympic distance, then a 70.2. Ironman UK is £300.

  • he might take protein and all that good stuff he is natural but taking all those pills at the same tiime is actuly bad for your budy

  • holy crap lol

  • how does he not get burnt out! I was tired just watching him work out!

  • @willartswim believe me he gets burn out, that part wasn't showed in the video for obvious reasons lol....

  • Simply amazing.

  • Thats only morning training ! ha

  • is that Monteray, CA????

  • @lrcraider yes, it looks like pacific grove. all those pink flowers

  • my last nam is hawker

  • cold? try canada.
