Seriously. I live in a converted garage apartment in this neighborhood. I WISH I lived in one of these! My place aint too shabby, but hell, can you imagine? Hugs.
Thanx Barb. It wasn't what I wanted to post, I had tons of cool video, but it wouldn't save. But as a slideshow, not too shabby. Thanx again for watching.
Very nice indeed Dean, its seems a little strange to me as so few are made from brick, nearly everything here is brick of some sort or another, but it world be a boring old world if we were all the same.:)
Yeah, not too much brick down here, I guess you guys used it all! LOL A lot of wood and stucco I guess. The majority of homes down here are boring block ranch style homes. Thanx for watching Big Guy.
Such awesome houses! You live in a very beautiful neighborhood! I have always wanted a big old house with a giant front porch. My family almost bought a 120 year old house that is on the National Historical Registery. It was beautiful and so unique. It was already partially restored...but we found out it had some SERIOUS problems that we could not afford to fix. :( Maybe someday...
I love giant porches! The very first house in the vid has a huge wrap-around that nearly doubles the size of the house! I love it. Yeah just when you think, Hey I bought this old house and you're done, oh no, then comes the upkeep and restoration, can get very costly. Most of these are in the $400-700,000 range, only two are million dollar homes! I know, hard to believe! Thanx Sandi!
Really? I guess I am numbed by it. House prices in Ocala are very high, with these being some of the modest ones, believe it or not. We are the horse capitol of the world, we have new construction starting at $1.5 million in some developements. Horses are big money and big business here. Do you know what is becoming the biggest business here? Banks! Go figure! There are new ones popping up everywhere!
There's something very wonderful about old houses. Americans are so quick to tear down and build new. Those old houses are a part of our history, and I think they should be treated with great respect. Thanks for sharing the video!
Ain't it the truth?! There are dozens more that I could have filmed that are just as beautiful, perhaps I will make a sequal?! Thanx Dianna for watching!
You are very fortunate to live in the historic district. Cost BIG bucks to live there. I tried to get a place over there and a smaller house than what I have now was $1200 a month! I live on the other side of the tracks, LOL. I won't show off my neighborhood, it would only depress people, lol. Great vid! :)
Well, I rent an apartment here, not too bad rent-wise, but yes, even a tiny house over here goes for like $1200 or so. There is one near here that is renting for $2400 a month!!! Can you imagine that for rent?! Thanx for watching Annie!
Yeah, all very nice, my fave is at 0.21, it is called The Burford House and is rumored to be haunted by a female ghost! How cool is that? What is even stranger is that it is now the corporate offices for Burger King! Can you believe that? LOL
LOL. Leave it to you, could be, don't know looks like a reflection. That particular house has been empty for a long time, but hey, you can buy it it for $475,000. It's really nice, I went to look at it, lots of cool features.

Holy cow! That's alotta money! The one I was looking at was in a very small town out in the country so it was nowhere near that price range.
