However, Sunrise didn't sink it's teeth into the story, all this was was an Infomercial on behalf of eBay's policy decision...if that is the case, then how much did eBay pay Sunrise for the appearance?

An ad masquerading as a news piece provides legitimacy for that which is being pushed.

Paypal as an option fine, only reasonable (for Interstate Aussies) option...sucks.

It's a shame the Sunrise hosts weren't better prepared to quiz Alastair. The topic is quite meaty, and unless a presenter spends a few hours going over all the paypal and eBay issues, they have no come-back to Alastair's argument's that almost seem 'reasonable' if they weren't so flawed.
