i had to wear a back brace for one hot minute in a failed attempt to correct my scoliosis. ended up having to get surgery back when i was 17. kinda sucks, but its all ive known so ive learned to live with it.
Thank you. You are sooooo sweet!!!!! I have a soft back brace as well, it's mostly for my lumbo-sacral area. I've seen KAFOs and HKAFOs, they aren't used very much here in the states anymore. I had KAFOs as a toddler. I was pigeon toed and my knees turned in. My knees still do... Take care! Hugs!
Pleae, do not worry, I have a lot of braces too: I have soft back brace, KAFO braces on both legs, I have 1,5cm insole in my left shoe and a pair of orthopedic shoes. So you are not alone! :-)
I have to wear braces because my joints dislocate. I have the braces on my hands because my wrist and thumb are permanantly out of place and dislocate VERY easily.
