  • So just a little working criticism.. This song isn't about killing yourself or black dresses or cutting yourself. Its about a past childhood and relationship gone wrong and now its gone and He wants it back, key words "funeral to my once loved youth" & the part about the funeral/ceremony he means loosing his childhood. Not trying to be bitchy but alot of his songs are weird like that he takes completely different meanings & medaphores and combines them and thats his songs theyre amazing either way

  • Okay, the picture at 0:13 may be one of the most offensive things I've seen in a while, but also one of the funniest. And the next picture after it is actually from a poem I really like, it's sad...

    Great song =')

  • @iamemilyrosex r u emo

  • @101pinkpie people are not emo. O: or preppy or nerds or jocks or loners so let's just stop labeling folks, yeah?

  • this music has nothing to do with being emo.

emo stands for emotive hardcore so emo music itsself is still hardcore. inother words screaming.

  • I like the video =P

  • I love this song!!!!! not so much this Video.

  • @JoshuaMcFuckingAwsum yeah. I don't like the video either. xD but the song's good. <3

  • I think this song is the prettiest in the world. I know I might seem emo, and stuff... But I'm just a little! And btw, the pictures with the vid are nice. Those bloody pics give me the chills all the time .

    Love it,

    Love

  • EMO.

  • so wait let me gues.. you made this video when you were really depressed but now you arent right? lol yeah I know that feeling.

  • Here's an idea for all of you people, maybe you can comprehend it.

Shut up about saying what the song means and how "crappy" this video is. Everybody interprets things differently, especially songs and poems. You came here to listen to music, so do that. Listen to the song and shut up.

  • i agree however youtube IS 4 discussion aswell... everyone's views r valid no matter how stupid they seem

  • I totally see your point there. :) However, a few of the people (I'm not saying ALL of them) should have seemed a little less insulting with how they stated their opinions.

  • again we r in total agreement lol... the way i look at it is this; those who use malice to state an opinion belie the wisdom of thier argument... if they had a point, it could b presented with tact, so ignore them. they obviously aren't worth listening 2 lol

  • ROFLROFLROFLCOPYCATROFLROFL.

  • Don't like the video but there's not many others with the song undistorted -.-

  • wow very weired video not being mean

  • love the song hate the pictures waaay to ruin it

  • thanks for commenting. =]

[plus, I know I screwed up xDD I made this a long time ago.]

  • Ha, <3

  • I love this song <3

  • I think the song is about his girlfriend commiting suicide and he is willing to kill himself to be with her again but he is wondering if she would do the same if the roles were switched. The slideshow was perfect! I loved it!

  • It's not you stupid fuck... it's about him missing his lost childhood (youth) and taking the people in it for granted.

  • Whoa! You need to chill and maybe go to anger management or something! i was just stating how i interpreted the song. So sorry if you think I'm wrong, but songs can be interpreted in different ways.

  • i love this song (:

not bad picture choices either (:

  • love the slideshow. the pictures are great.

  • The pic of the clown scares me lol

  • 4:28 is an emo spongebob? Lol....Haha but I love the song.

  • goodjob lol.

  • This is a great song.

    I love it...

I used it as title things for my myspace pictures.

Even though I was smiling in most of them.

  • Very stereotypical...

    but not bad...

Some of the pictures are pretty good...

I love the song tho... and that is what really matters anyway...

    (:

  • some of those pictures are stereotypical and have nothing to do with the videos. but others are surreal and beautiful

  • of course stfu and eat one

  • Way to ruin an amazing song with such stereotypical pictures in the video...

  • -shrug-

    i like the pictures. =]

if you don't, then you don't have to look at them. you can easily have another tab open and still listen to the song.

  • Most of them are great pictures, I'll give you that, but its the ones about cutting and its association with emo kids that bothers me. Not all emos cut, and you probably know that, but they dont really fit with the theme of the song.

  • I understand the song isn't about "emo" people and cutting. honestly, i don't know what the true meaning is of the song... but where it says "take this razor, and cut your palms" it sort of 'inspired' me. You know? I just needed some pictures for the beginning.

    =)

  • If you even sit there and say you don't know what the song is about then why make a video on it? You missed the meaning completely. One line about a razor and you get "inspired'? Look past the lyrics to the deep meaning. To say you will die for someone is a lot to say and really mean, which is why not even he believes she can do it. Bonnie and Clyde were made for each other, they would have died for the other. It was a great story, great people.

  • I made a video because I love this song. :)

  • =P it doesn't matter if I don't understand the full meaning. Everyone has their own interpretation of the song. But just because I don't know the exact message hes trying to send, it doesn't mean i can't like it, lawl. =]

  • Yes I agree, songs are what you make them. You do not need to know what was in his mind as he wrote it in order to like it, but you did not offer up any interpretation of the song. So it implies you just sit and listen to the pretty melody and think nothing of the lyrics.

  • i applaud you, I think you really nailed it... Although, maybe you left out the parts about his youth/childhood? Instead, you focused on the dying for one another. But still, great job.

  • Comment removed

  • I was not going to get into how the symbolic funeral was meant to symbolize the death of his childhood, which I would assume in his mind was ended by some traumatic event, and in it he is taking them both away from the simple life of youth into pain and suffering. I did not believe she would understand so I did not bother to waste my time.

  • could you do any better?

  • <333 Love.

  • <3
