I remember that it was started with the gambling, Donita and Ligaya killed the PRO, where GR card can easily acquired via OCA, no need to hunt the GR... and also the dupe items made by the genius players to duplicate such a rare items..

RO was a huge failure, sure a lot of people played it, but it was still a failure, and it will always be, a failure.

Because of private servers and new games. thats why it's failing now, in US at least. other country have 6 domain, and each domain has 8 servers. each server holds 20k ppl, its been about 10 years, and its still kicking.... im not gonna argue with u anymore. so bye

The game failed because it wasn't able to produce any real content, the game didn't support proper quests.

That's why they made Ragnarok Online 2, rather than continue on RO 1.

RO was a failure, because it had no support, no backbone, the developers said so themselves and then started working on RO2.

My own MMO had a lot of support for pretty much anything a modern MMO has today, and the game we're releasing next year, will most likely beat RO1 on all statistics.
