  • Is this the IL-2 Game?

  • good video, muy buen video, saludos des de barcelona

  • FInally, some real aces, not some american stupids. Nice vid!

In IWO JIMA of Ioto, the foreign country is read and said light (IWO Tou) is a Japanese reading.

Island:Light tou stripes and stripes jima shima

  • Long live Japan!! If I could go back to WW2 I would fight for Japan. When I live in Japan in 8 years I will die for her Japan you have my honor. I am devoted to you and your success as a superior country. LONG LIVE THE IMPERIAL EMPIRE OF JAPAN!!!

  • My old dead friend killed over 80 enemy soldiers on IWO. We will always have our honor.

  • yeah right

  • Great Video!, nice history!!! :D

    Thank you!

  • I don't know, perhaps trading one plane with one pilot for an entire aircraft carrier full of thousands of men? Sounds like a horrible trade in a time of war that costed over 60 milion lives.

  • what do you said write it in english

  • great video! These games need better sound files for the aircraft engines.

  • Damn right.

  • i love this video its the best one i ve seen i love the japenise and us planes they are so cool!!!-narutofan870-

  • Banzaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaai! Haiko Banzaaaaaaaaaaai!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OSU! Great video! Respect!

  • Where did you get the Skins for the Zero fighter ?

  • Almost all players and others are creating the skin personally.

My skin is also made by itself.

  • WONDERFUL MOVIE I LIKE THIS:) And Japanese Language^^.

  • i think that the corsair is also a plane that could fight the zero

  • I dont care the us won the war, the zero rules, its both awesome, good looking and packs a hard punch.

  • the F6 by this time were superior to the zeros 8-| and us fighter pilots were better by this time of the war almost all of them vets and aces japes put litle kids in zeros by that time of the war fake video

  • A simulator vid cant be fake, its just a vid man, dont be such a flyfucker.

  • A dog fight between A6M zeros and F6F Hellcats did occur in 1944 over Iwo Jima. It was described by Sabuo Sakai in his autobiography "Samurai". But it was nothing like this animation. The Hellcats being superior in every way to the Zeros decimated Sakai's compatriates and he barely escaped with his life only do to his skill and experience.

  • The purpose of this video was to leave Japanese's Player multi-play event to record.

I needed to incorporate all the scenes that Player victory .

By this video, many scenes which shoot down Hellcats appear as a result.

If the altitude to fight is high, Hellcats is rightly superior in actual Play.

However, if an altitude is low, I think that zero and Hellcats are even .

  • I would acknowledge the A6M was an excellent fighter. Probably the best in the world in 1941 when the war started. But the F6F was designed Specifically to beat it. It was the only allied aircraft that could out turn the a6m at ANY altitude. Nothing like this video happened in real life.

  • The Hellcat could not out turn a zeke at any altitude.

  • Obviously you've never heard of the "Marianas Turkey Shoot", 19 June, 1944. F6F Hellcats shot down 300 Japanese aircraft of all types including many A6m5 'zeke's. The F6F was superior to all variants of the zero in all aspects, climb, dive, flat out air speed, gunnery, and turning ratio. It was the only allied aircraft that could out turn the A6M. It's 22/1 kill ratio is the highest of any fighter of any era.

  • Oh yes, the f6f killed A6ms in droves. That is true. They could out climb, dive, and accelerate the zero. They could never turn inside of one at equal energy states. THE ZERO HAD A TIGHTER TURN RADIUS.

Think about what we're discussing here, kid. We are comparing the turn radii of the two planes. We are not trying to figure out which was a better fighter plane. They are different things.

  • Mostly the reason for A6M5 lose in Marianas was caused by unskilled pilot. Many U.S. pilot bailed to fight another day, but Japanese pilot just went with the plane he was on. This caused Japanese to run out of skilled pilots, while U.S. got more experienced pilot as war proceded. So I believe 22/1 kill ratio was caused more by difference in pilots. Not the aircraft.

  • It's unlikley , completely. The mere tonnage of the Hellcat makes this aircraft too slow on turns, it had a wider turn angle than the Zeke .. in all it's variants. It was faster, had a better climb and especially dive (thanks for the construction) but when coming to turning... the Hellcat was a dead plane. Problem is that there were little experienced pilots in the IJA and IJN. And besides... swarms of Hellcats can kill whatever they want.

  • hellcat can climb to higher altitude than zeke, once when i watched dogfights, a zeke mistaken a hellcat as a wildcat so the jap pilot lured the hellcat to climb to a higher altitude, hoping that it will stall 1st before him but in the end it is the zeke that stall 1st,& it became a victim for the hellcat which look like a wildcat

  • First of all, stop using "jap".

The point I am making is that in the battle of Mariana, US victory was due to its comprehensive military power and technology, not only due to one factor, the airplane. Radars, communication systems, overwelming number of Helcat, lack of experience of the Japanese pilots. If Zero fighter is operated by a very skillful pilot, it could shot down Helcat. In this Iwo island battle, SAKAI, supr Japanese Ace shot down two Helcats.

  • You should know at Mariana, the US side knew the location, height, speed of Japanese planes with radars. So, huge number of Helcats waited fro Japanese plains in a extremely advatageous position with far exceeding number of plains. Many of the plains shot down were heavy bombers which could not move well. Any good pilot, even with a best airplane, can not escape from an attack under such disadvantageous conditions. Right after they realize the enemy, many were shot down.

  • plains? do u mean planes

  • hell divers are meh favorite lol

  • air combat doesn't work that way, the hellcat easily decimated zeros there was no dog fighting plain and simple the tactic of the hellcat was simply fly high and fast and dive down on the enemy take some shots the regain altitude and repeat no where along that could a zero catch up they are slow, maneuverable but that really doesn't help, they got killed easliy hence why the kill ration was hell cats 20 to zeros 1.

  • 20mmnagler, i dont believe a F6F could outurn a A6M at any altitude. The F6F was much larger and heavier. It was designed to beat the zero, but not by outurning it but by brute power and the energy a F6F could carry with the huge R2800 radial.

Pilots were specifically told to avoid dogfights with zeros, as a zero could probably get inside a F6Fs turning radius very easily.

  • can you even read Japanese? You missed half the film....

  • Awesome Video!

  • you the japanese?

  • Nice video!!!!!!!!!! great

  • eeem Battle of Iwo Jima was in 1945 not in 1944 :D.

  • although I can not read Japanese, this scenario is possible. Iwo was bombed by air on and off for months before the actual invasion took place in February of 1945...

  • Wow! Great video!

  • great!!!

  • Fantastic video! Congratulations :)

  • Good Job!!!!!

  • il2 sturmovik i think....

  • Thank you All!
