To all you ding dongs out there trying to compare this fire to WT7. Things to remember... THIS building was built in an earthquake zone. Therefore it was built to totally different standards. It was also built on a totally different design.

The fire at WT7 showed the failing of the contractor and designers of the World Trade Center. Nothing more. You do not have to have a fire totally consume a building for it to collapse. All you need is a few main supports to give way.

Guys, this thing was built 30 years after the WTC, and to a third of the height. Perhaps they learned lessons about blown-on insulation. They probably didn't hang lightweight trusses over a wide area to provide column free space. Major supports were not cut by the impact of a plane before the fire. There is no comparison.

The TVCC has a huge central atrium (53 stories) - taller than WCT 7 (47 stories) and is covered by a steel space frame structure with huge diagonal steel bracing members on 2 sides. The cladding - titanium zinc alloy steel, which wraps around and over the entire building survived this all night inferno quite well. BTW. The WTC buildings WERE designed for jet impacts - not demolitions.

The WTC was designed for the accidental impact of a 707 at speeds common for that altitude. The terrorists were flying much larger jets, almost full of fuel, as fast as they could. The outer columns of the WTC were cut by the force of impact, plainly visible in vids, and I don't even know why I'm arguing about this because it's just silly.

The only thing silly is your 'argument'. The Boeing 767 is scaled up roughy 30% compared to a 707. The towers were designed to withstand even MULTIPLE plane strikes so your point is quite moot. The structure is a space-frame type so it doesn't matter if a small portion is damaged - loads are re-distributed.

the world trade center were built during the 1960s this building is built in 2007, after 2001 9/11 all new chinese skyscraper had to stand fire to the 9/11 magnitude. beside burning and exploding are completely different .

You have common sense. USAF is talking nonsense. NO steel building has collapsed due to fire in 100 years! On 9/11 THREE fall down at FREE FALL speed - that's demolition my friend. Note, the building in this video (the TVCC bldg. not it's sister bldg. CCTV) had no fire protection systems installed as yet. The fire in the WTC blgs were LOWER temperature (black smoke) and not fed oxygen through an open atrium like the TVCC building.
