Fabulous! Us Aussies often have a laugh at these shows...they're sooo dated and really....none of us are like that. We're just the same as the Brits, yanks, europeans....etc.... We have a chuckle at the sounds skippy made too!! RIP skippy.

How exactly is it possible for Australians to lose their accent then? The US is a different case since there are many different ethnic groups here. Is the demographic in Australia so diverse that it's impossible to maintain an English accent?
The show wasn't just male-dominated. It was dominated by white, ugly, gormless, pasty, Gad-awful nonces with the most unbearable accents... Well, Australians, at any rate...
