2 great genius song writers. This will always be classic just the 2 of them working together. I remember as a 12yr. old (black) kid walking into Kmart and seeing a display of Tug of War albums as soon as you walked in and thinking wow Paul is still the man. This is definitely a classic! This is one of my favorite songs from the early 1980's expressing the shortcomings & positive qualities in others. "We all know people are the same whereever you go, there is good & bad in everyone, learn to live learn to give each other what we need to survive, together alive." Both McCartney & Wonder emphasize the importance of black & whites getting along with one another "in perfect harmony"
