I put that this is the first time (2011) but I should have worte it more clearly that back in 1995 when Viki first became Tori, 1995 was the FIRST TIME I had ever heard the name Tori EVER
It went from Tommy to Jean to Tori, not Tommy to Tori. It was appropriate that Jean would turn to Tori, since Jean was the gate keeper for months, then Tori took over, and Tori was in charge.
In the beginning Tori was fun. Then she turned deadly. Tori was another alter that scared the pants off me, which is credit to Erika Slezak's amazing talent. I remember this clip very well, and how Tori named herself. Great stuff!
I thought the later Tori was riveting, so this change is definitely proof of Erika's abilities. I guess Tori was the way to let us see an alter be born and then slowly blow up and up and up and up. I really wish that Tori had been brought back in that later, awful 2002 story, instead of Niki.
This clip is incredible! I always thought Tori had her name from the start, like the others did. I never knew she came up with it after emerging. Tori is such an odd personality, you never quite know how she is going to react.
I was just a baby but I sure wish I could have seen these other alters.
