I am taking the BC Ferries from departure bay (within 10 minutes of where I am) to horseshoe bay, (on the mainland)...in 3-4 days...ive taken this route before several times and other BC Ferry routes and have to say I agree with u...the service is great and good food selection...I luv it...I was born here in Nanaimo, BC Canada and proud of it!
BC Ferries service from Tsawassen, BC to Swartz Bay,Victoria is really a ride to remember...just spectacular, very professional people , food is really awesome, 4 decks are reserved for cars and heavy vehicles...amazing scenery all around leaves everybody spellbound, lot of seagulls, tiny islands passing by, small boats and visible American mainland - I am proud of my lovely and amazing country...CANADA.

from vancouver island to the mainland is along but great bc ferry ride its laike 1:35 minutes.
