That was a wild evening of storms...a wild weekend, actually. This week has been very active in my area with tornadoes and RAIN!!!!

I heard that!!!!! Hopefully, I won't need to do that for a while, yet. I have a feeling this Spring is going to be an active Tornado season. I HOPE I AM WRONG!

HA! I ran threw our parking lot at work which had a foot and a half of water standing in it to get my camera out of my car. Got inside to do a video blog cause of all the hail and strong wind and my batteries went dead. Bummer. 7 of us went into a little tiny bathroom at our salon. Was doing a rock starish haircut which I had never done before during the whole thing. I was stressed to the max. And what do you know the teenage client was not even phased by all the hail and wind.

Glad you are all ok! I am always very respectful of storms but if we get a tornado warning... it's party time for me! See... we have a basement and we have a bunch of people that just 'show up' and that's time for me to start cooking ! lol

Oh, wow. That's just awful! I'm terrible in situations like that. It was storming pretty badly here (upstate SC) with a bit of hail, but nothing like what happened in Georgia. I'm glad you and your family are okay!

FANTASTIC video. We were in Atlanta this morning. I cant tell you how surreal it was walking around Olympic Park, The Omni....I nearly passed out when I saw the Tabernacle. We watched the footage yesterday-but seeing those curtains flapping in the breeze at the top of the Westin...can you imagine? What a weekend.

I am having trouble imagining it. The thought of going closer to see the sights has crossed my mind. I am SO THANKFUL...more folks were not injured. It is very sad about the others who lost their lives in NW Georgia. Thanks for stopping by.

Lord, Ronnie! I didn't know anything about the storms (been gone for 3 days). Wow! that hail did not look good. I've done the Tornado and Hurricane dash for the closet / hall and you're right..they can be terrifying. Sorry for the rough weather, but glad you're o.k. -sue

I like your cinamatogrophy,the camera angle and you looking around,driving,the rear view mirror...all very paranoid looking-nice.I'm siyer you would have rather it not...I've been in hurricanes,tornados,earthquake­s...I sat on the couch today here in Watkinsville.The tornados seemed to go right around us...I guess thay always make me think of The Wizard of Oz or life in the 1970's living in Knob Noster Missouri...thats some serious tornado country too....

Steven, glad you stopped by. Thanks for your comment. I lived in California 40 years ago, so I remember earthquakes. Never been in a Hurricane. Speaking of The Wizard Of Oz, have you read the book "Wicked"? EXCELLENT BOOK!

My wife and daughter are huge Wicked fans...they went to see it at the Fox last year....they both have autographed posters and I got them broadway playbills from the first performance...one of even has the main song as a ringtone...yes,I know Wicked very well,they're gonna take me to someday when it comes around.

Valerie, You're VERY SWEET. At the time I was driving...there was no storm, no rain. The shot of the hail was taken earlier in the day...during the 2nd, less severe storm. TRUST ME, I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN IN MY CAR IF A STORM HAD BEEN TAKING PLACE....I am scared of that stuff...THANK YOU SO MUCH for your concern!!!!
