  • I live in florence and I think that there are most important things to check out instead of "opificio delle pietre dure" or "the silk factory"

and the quality of the things sold around s.lorenzo isn't bad!!!!!

  • assasin creed has taught me so many things about italy and it's history i mean it crazy. i went there few months ago. My whole family along with myself was surprise to see how much i know about italy, even more then our guide.

  • Scagolia? What the f is that? They probably meant scagliola. As for the list, they didn't talk about so many other sites as the Boboli gardens or Santa Croce. It's just non sense to make a 5 things list when you're in a city so densely filled with art!

  • thanks ! Enjoyed this

  • very informative.. cheers :)

  • ponte vecchio?

  • Florence doesn't look like it does in the video game. Awww.

  • @rodney346 in the video game its in the old times lol..

  • I'd recoment italy to anyone, and in particularly Florence. I stayed at lake garda in northern italy and took a 3 hour bus journey for a day trip in Florence. The tour guide explained to us on the trip there, Florence is not a city that can be viewed in one day. And she was on the dead on the money. It is a wonderful place and i will go back : ) It has so much charm eminating from every street, and each corner you turn reviels another gem to explore. Simply put, amazing. Would recomend to anyone

  • @CplDrew that places boring..only summer it looks great...id prefer Milan just coz its modern city..

  • Amo grazie dell'Italia particolarmente Firenze alla dottrina religiosa 2 degli assassini! Thats in English "I love Italy especially Florence thanks to Assassins Creed 2!"

  • At least pronounce the words properly!

  • Taken from the thread on "European Racism":

sonofthedestroyer: "Dont rely too much on what white people write as 'historic fact'. They are known distorters and liars."

The troll's answer to that post:

ProudConfederateMan @sonofthedestroyer: "Yes very true LMAO!!!!"

Beware of the exposed anti-Spain white-hating nonwhite pretending to be a "redneck"

  • @AMetalNinja The best thing about Assassins Creed is that all the places they have created in the game are the same as the actual layout. The landmarks are awesomely constructed to give the players the reality and make them wanting to visit the place.

  • haha im just learning italian, pardon my spelling

  • ive been to number 4... the very top, on a little cross... in assassins creed 2 lol

  • Watch out for all the dog poop on the ground while you walk around admiring the various sights. Anybody that has visited Firenze knows what I'm bringing up.

  • Theres pasticceria in Florence that makes unbelievable Ricotta tarts

  • "Accademia" is written with two "C" letters, cowboys!

    Learn italian

  • OPIFICIO DELLE PIETRE DURE , FILIPPO BRUNELLESCHI.. !!!!! learn how to say it.. before u say it!

  • I would say the #1 thing to see in Florence is the basilica itself. I was there about 1 month ago, and it was just absolutely incredible!! The delicate intricacy of the artwork is breathtaking, and it was mind-boggling to see how large this building is. I tried to take a picture of the entire building but I couldn't because it was SO LARGE. I could really feel the MAJESTY of this building standing right next to it. It's an architectural masterpiece, in and of itself.

  • I'm here in Florence now. You should add the Uffizi!

  • r u still there?

  • lol you're from south korea, just shut up.

  • Firenze thanks for Gucci, best Italian designer ;)

  • LOL

San Lorenzo market a touristic attraction??LOL

With all the great things to see in Florence a market???????

Fiesole,Uffizi,Piazza della Signoria those are great places.

  • Comment removed

  • wow, these things are so interesting. i would like to check them out if i ever go to florence.

    - sara.

  • and scandicci!!!

  • non dimenticare i giardini boboli!!!!

  • I agree about the Duomo and David, but the omission of the Uffizi Museum, the Piazza della Signoria and Boboli Gardens was surprising. Of course, the city is filled with so much art and beauty that it's impossible for anybody to agree on what truly are the top five atrractions. That was a nice tip about the silk factory, though. That's a must-visit next time. Thanks.
