He and my sister are really good friends with Jonathan. And let me say one thing, along with mrjake700, eljefe010, and chevelleman420, Jonathan has been through a rough college football career. i agree. The expectations for an athlete at UT are very high, especially when you are the starting quarterback on the football team. I think Crompton had the potential to be a really good qb but he had an issue dealing with the pressure.

Second, my bad, I got his name wrong, and for good reason.......he sucks! I meant Jonathan Crompton not Eric Compton. But whatever his name is, the dude's a joke, his coach is a joke........and Tennessee's entire athletic program is a joke!.
Watch the Florida games he's played in and go back and revisit the two UCLA games he's played in, and then get back to me!

i agree. The expectations for an athlete at UT are very high, especially when you are the starting quarterback on the football team. I think Crompton had the potential to be a really good qb but he had an issue dealing with the pressure.

Eric Compton is the worst QB I have ever seen! The dude consistently puts up GARBAGE! He is a liability, and he single-handedly is preventing Tennessee from moving forward! Why is this guy still playing, let alone still on the football team??????

They're playing better football than their record shows. It's only a matter of time before the wins start piling up like in the old days. And you have to give some credit to Crompton lately. He started off a little shaky to start the season, but seems to have regained his confidence.

Great vid man. Thanks. I hope to see the VOLS we all know and love back on top this season. I know Saturday was WKU, but come on 634 yards is nothing to sneeze at . We have to keep in mind that a lot of our guys are freshman and playing in front of 94,000 has to be stressfull. My hat goes of to em for a great showing this past Saturday, i hope they keep it up. They did give the fans what they came for. This Saturday will really tell what we're capable of this season. Good luck to em.

#7 Condridge Holloway. From Huntsville, AL. A UT fan said, after a big play, "doesn't the Bear wish he had Condridge." To which I replied, "If Bear wanted Condridge, Bear would have Condridge." Of course, the coach at the time was Bill Battle, who played under Bryant. Bu the way, I'm from Knoxville. Went to Bama. Still, I like many of UT traditions. What happened to the cannon on the Hill!? Rusted out from lack of use after Alabama games, I suppose. Think they threw it i the Tennessee River.

I think their may be better choices for background music, but I disagree that "Teenage Wasteland" is a bad choice here. Personally I wish someone would post the original video the way it was put together on the "This is Tennessee" video. The background music was an instrumental song called "The Battle" from the movie The Gladiator. It's an awesome montage. Wish someone would post it.

Tennessee beat Cal 35-18 (it was 35-0 before we put in our 2nd strings) at Tenn in 2006 then Cal beat us by 14 the next year in Berkeley.
