When I was 4 I lost my Father through cancer and not a day goes by that I don't think of him...This film touched me deeply as I realised how much I actually miss him, I had to hold back the tears. Its been 10 years but it feels like an eternity...RIP Dad.
@tessisnottess Because the scene takes place on dikes (ever heard of Holland? Lots of dikes there!) which usually have a lane for bikers built on top. And because the bike wheel is symbolic. And because a Chevrolet Camaro woulnd´t have worked the same way for this dramatic purpose...
It's interesting to read the comments. I guess we all have very different opinions. My reaction is this: Why would anyone want to watch such a depressive clip? It gives me nothing I want, only sad feelings of desperation.
@MajSmJz Yeah, why not produce more Bay watch type things, this is depressing;-D It gives many people many things we want, you have a problem dealing with sad feelings and desperation it seems, but that´s not what everyone feels when they watch this film.
@MajSmJz Well, it makes me feel tenderness, it reminds me of my father thus bringing joy in its own way, it makes me think about life and of how time goes by, nostalgic and by no means it makes me feel like killing myself. You know, there´s this prejudice installed in fun society: everything must be happy, everything must be fun all the time... Many people have a certain lack of "training" as far as certain emotions are concerned, so they do not know how to react to a film like this one...
Man, this film was amazing. The music fits so well, the rhythm and timing of everything... And especially the storytelling... It's been a while since I saw something touch my heart so deeply.
memories... sometimes, that is all we have.... this is so beautiful.
