  • If the govt can't refinance, ie Borrow Long to Pay Short, then it will not have enough money, and will be forced to monotize and raise taxes. Look for higher gas prices, along with everything else! Check Chris Martensens videos 6,7,8 and 9 for how the Fed operates and iamthewitness for the recent discussions of the Bond auction failure and Gold scandel.. peace

  • It's worse than the FED buying the treasuries, the FED will bribe a foreign entity to show up and buy treasuries,10 days later the FED will quietly buy them all back along with some bribe money to get them to show up at next auction.

This allows the FED to say "well,we sold all the treasuries!!.

So just because an entity other than the FED buys these toxic things doesn't mean that they're not being monetized 10 days later.

Who thinks the Chinese aren't aware of this racket?

    Got gold?

  • Hey, its 3 days after your prediction came true. Good call dude! Watch out below US dollar.

  • 1. Government gives/lends money to banks.

    2. Banks deposit money and multiply it 9 times through the fractional banking system turning 1 trillion into 10 trillion.

    3. Banks anonymously purchase T bills and T notes.

    4. Government funds itself through the bailouts.

    Is this scenario possible?

  • Not only possible, but very likely

  • Mike, I'd like to inform you that I accidentally clicked on "Flag" of this video while I was trying to save it in my playlist. I am so sorry for the mistake. And everyone please be informed also. I do like your video and no any attention to flag it!!

    Thanks

  • It doesn't seem to have impacted it. Thanks for letting me know :-)

  • Based on current debt level - my guess is at least $7500/ounce !

  • I'm thinking the Fed will revalue it's gold from the current price which is still set around $42 / ounce to a new price that will reflect acutal market values. If that happens the price of gold will jump very fast and very high.

  • when is this quantitative easing crap goi g to happen????????

  • starts tomorrow

    Peace

  • you the man love the videos keep up the good REPORTING

  • Very interesting,

    Thank you

  • maybe they can sell them on ebay

  • yes...they'll pay the debt, but with dollars worth half of what they were worth...or even less!

  • no theyll pay it with gold at he value of dollars at that time when gold goes to 3000 an ounce they wiil pay with gold and shortly after interest rates will go up and the dollar will shoot up along with the paid off debt. and they will buy back the gold at 1/4 the price. you and i will be struggling at this time.

  • when gold hits 3000 oz. theyll use gold to pay debt at the dollar value.

  • . Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. 4Look! The wages you failed to pay the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter. You have condemned and murdered innocent men, who were not opposing you

  • My guess is the short term T-Bills will sell okay, but no one in their right mind will buy the longer term ones. I understand there will be an introduction of new 7 year and yes, 50 year bills. imho, the federal reserve will purchase their on debt and it will not help. The scheme will continue for awhile longer, but the consequences of their action will eventually cause the problem to blow. The time to panic is drawing nearer. Prepare and Peace.

  • Rod Serling obviously had an influence on this fellow.

  • I am about to get worse.

    Prepare

    Peace

  • No my friend, I didn't mean your condition. I meant the style of your speech. Sounds a bit like Rod Serling. Thanks for the reply anyway.

  • Check back in a few hours.

You'll be very glad you did :)

    Peace

  • PEACE

  • China and the U.S need to have a serious chat. The current system is toxic for both sides. The U.S. is taking easy credit, living the high life and having its industry hollowed out by cheap imports. China is keeping its currency artifically low which means a very tough life for most of its own people and a failure to develop a diverse consumer base at home. Every year it gets worse, this is crisis time, "patching it up" isn't really good enough.

  • I can see why the UK has basically encouraged a 30% devaluation (or maybe they didn't have a choice).

One way to change the habits of your people. Imports shoot up in price, exports much cheaper for overseas customers.

It will work OK provided the whole currency (pound sterling) doesn't collapse. A big, scary, gamble though!

  • Huh. Sounds like Firefly, again, with its Sino-American Alliance. Merging economies to take on the rest of the world would make a twisted sort of sense, if neither side really gave a damn about the political philosophies they supposedly espoused.

    Here come the Purplebellies. Shiny.

    ='[.]'=

  • The U.S. government is probably desperately trying to prop up the price(s). Seems like a sad and crazy Ponzi scheme, doesn't it?

  • No one is working on fixing the actual problem, I mean really working on it so what does that mean it means there do this to our country for a reason. Rather it be the'' NORTH AMERICAN UNION'' reason or'' the put us all in consitration camps''.

You know what I think, I think that there making us all poor so we have no capable way of living on our own we will be all on our knees bagging for there help so badly will do anything to get out of this situation then they will put us in camps.

  • fed buying treasuries = a dog eating its own fecal matter

  • so true!

  • No one is going to buy that crap, no one wants it and no one has the funds to lend to the US, at least not at the rates they're wanting to pay.

I also read today there's a concern about Russia defaulting on its debt. Their credit rating was downgraded to BBB and their financial position is substantially strained.

I was under the impression at the last auction that it was an anonymous buyer but you mentioned that a country purchased treasuries, do you know what country that was?

  • It is unclear who bought the $10 Billion at the last minute. Indirect Bidders are "Customers placing competitive bids through a direct submitter, including Foreign and International Monetary Authorities placing bids through the Federal Reserve Bank of New York"

It might have been the Fed itself. It is a big black hole that that just opened up. If it was the Fed, then it HAS to report it on it's weekly balance sheet, but it might be hiding really well! I'll have to spend more time :(

    Peace

  • Finding the origin of money is like finding the origin of the universe. Federal Reserve Banks own stock in the Fed, which pays 6% dividend. Does that stock underwrite currency(Federal Reserve Notes)? Since, the government prints money, why don't they issue it? Since, the Fed issues money, why don't they print it? Who owns the gold in Fort Knox? How much gold is there? Does the Fed have access to that gold? Has it been moved or used? Can the Fed by held accountable for tight/loose policy?

  • There is no gold left in Fort Know. Is was given to the World Bank a long time ago.

  • Yea Fort Knox is mostly empty now. There is still some gold left but all of the silver is long gone.

  • I'll be watching. Thanks for the info

  • Buy stock symbol's: USO (oil) & GLD (gold)

If you don't buy it, at least make a mock portfolio and see what it does

  • Why hasn't anyone in a leadership position suggested that we spend our way out of this crisis?

Listen. It's not as difficult as it sounds. We could buy new cars, change light bulbs, fix old buildings and roads, replace power lines, increase unemployment insurance, provide free health care...and viola! Crisis avoided.

All we really need is a visionary. A lightworker, if you will, to come up with these kinds of really innovative ideas.

It's time to move forward, not backward.

  • Is this sarcasm?I hope so.

  • Yes, even Americans are capable of biting sarcasm... good thing too! It's irony they sometimes miss ;)

  • FIA,

Watch the 2 year and 10 year. When they cross in price, the dollar will collapse. That is my guess. I think I will mention it in my next video. I predict it will happen on or around March 15th. I'm feeling the ides of March, because it seems right. A feeling ,that is all. Let's see what happens.

    Peace.

    K.K.

  • Hi, Kitten. I always watch for your posts. Very, very interesting observation. I think you could be right. Greetings from France.

  • Hey Slobo,

Thanks. Do you know Nick ( Themodernmystic)? He lives in France as well. Well, great hearing from you.

    Peace.

    K.K.

  • Nope, don't know him.

  • Kadafi might buy.

  • you know I am gathering ton of nightmare news articles for you as well....ha ha ha.

Actually I am going to post a vid on friday of the beginings of revolt here in the united states... how the momentum is just beginning and how I think it will play out.

As always thanky you for your vids, and the ever present not panic .

  • Ah, wheres the "don't panic" at the end of the video???

or was it left out intentionaly???

    (yikes) :- P

  • The dollar is desperate to fall, but it isn't. It's like the mad woman from misery. The most interesting question is what is keeping it up?

  • Jim Rogers says the dollar is going up because a lot of investors shorted the dollar, and have to buy the dollar to cover the short.

  • Hello!? They forgot to turn off the cockadoodee printing press! Can't they see that!?

    :) Misery...great book/movie

Yes folks, it's a suspense thriller alright...

    Where is Geithner's #1 fan?

  • Oh, oh.

  • It's absolutely astonishing how the DOW has been floating around the 8,000 mark for a couple of months. It's also interesting to note that the last week or so every time the DOW goes below 8000 (like it did yesterday going 100+ down) the next day or so it goes back to 8000+. Just something to think about in my opinion. Anyway thank's for the videos and all the info you provide.

  • Yes I have wondered why the DOW has been behaving like this. The FTSE is behaving the same. I thought it was extremely unusual but I couldn't figure out a reason. Do you have a theory?

  • Study Plunge Protection Team

    peace

  • Comment removed

  • yep....more interventionism...and if you look at the gold spot you see similar activity but in this case suppression. A case has been opened about gold price manipulation by GATA.

  • Repeat after me - "The government has your best interests at heart". There you go children!

    Peace :)

  • Thanks Fever.....Okay, so do we panic now?

  • NOT YET! Panic is for wimps!

I'll let you know next weekend LOL

    Peace

  • Okay LOL......looking forward to it.

  • Now the lights come on! It's been a really great Ponzi scheme - thanks! Bye!

What will they do in retaliation?

    Wow :-(

  • Gah! This stuff makes me so angry! When'll the public stand up and say No More!

/wonders what is wrong with americans, goes back to video games...oh wait....wow

  • If only the public would stand up! But wait - what's that I hear? Protest marches?

Maybe there is still a slight glimmer of hope that the people will wake up and DO something!

I fear it is too late :(

Thank you SOOOO much for commenting! I was wondering where the young female US patriots were!

    Peace :)

  • The American sheeple will be like those [British] strikers, and only start complaining ect when its far to late to do any good, trouble is unlike those British guys Americans have lots of guns and a shorter temper. Interesting times.

  • delicflower:

The public won't stand up cuz it doesn't understand what's going on. The press has no clue, and congress/Obama has no clue.

  • "Buy American" in the stimulus bill might go down well amongst the U.S. electorate but the huge EU trade block is America's biggest customer and they wouldn't be too keen. There would be . . R E V E N G E.

China wouldn't be too happy either. And they are America's sugardaddy / pimp.

  • China = Sugardaddy - LOL

    Thanks for the smile!

    Peace

  • Yes, why does a big debter nation like the UK own about 11% of U.S. debt? Partly bought by selling half the UK gold when it was rock bottom!

Recently the UK recognised China's rights over Tibet (could have a big impact on part of India later down the line!). Early this week the UK was wining and dining the Chinese Premier. I wonder why? Hmmm.......

  • The Fed will print money and buy them

  • Comment removed

  • great video! Ill by thme if they sell them today and ill pay for them when they mature....ill keep the interest ..they can have the bonds back..

  • wow very informative.

  • At what point are you going to drop the word "Don't" from your video titles?

  • In a nutshell - yes. This is an inflationary move. Inflation is often called "reduction of debt by economic policy" by the chairman of the Fed.

  • US dollar is done! Who would buy it? The dollar has been propped up a little because people escaped the stock market into the "safe" haven of treasuries. I realized my head was in a shark's mouth, so I put it in a lion's mouth?

    I think

  • US-China relations seems to be skidding downward. Geithner, amusingly, accused China of manipulating its currency. Top Chineese officials have recently, fairly, blamed the worldwide financial downturn on the irresponsibility of US financial institutions.

I think the coming failure of the T-Bill auction will be the beginning of the end of the Obama "miracle." There has not been enough change where it matters to convince the world we're a sober player who can be trusted.

    Good vid.

  • The Canadians joined in on condemning China for it's currency policies. Oh well; you'd think Canadians were smarter than right?

    Thanks!

  • o.k, so this means the AMERO right!

so is the dollar going to crash?

  • I really don't like the word amero. But there will likely be a replacement floated in time.

    Prepare

  • your right i dont think were far away from whats coming

  • I love your video's Mike, you are the most informative of any of the youtubers. Real info, instead of babbling about ideas instead of facts.

  • Thanks for the compliment.

I think ideas are equally valid though. A lot of the stuff I think about comes from others just blogging!

Plus I find all sorts of really interesting people to communicate with. We each serve a different purpose :-)

  • Again, thanks buddy for the great updates. As always, you are appreciated.

Time for folks to start praying.

  • Don't just pray - prepare

    Peace

  • theres a famous phrase that i keep hearing alot lately! and it is May you live in interesting times.....is that not so true now? how interesting this is getting it seems like its spinning out of control!

  • hi!my english isnt so good.can anybody explain me what are t-bills?

  • Hi - check out the Treasury site. T-Bills are short-term debt issued by the US Government :[

  • thanks!

    peace from Athens

  • T-Bills are U.S. treasury securities which are government bonds issued by the United States Department of the Treasury through the Bureau of the Public Debt. There are like government IOU´s or promises to pay the money back at a given time, plus the coupon-rate or yield.

  • T Bills are print growing promises of payment issued by the goverment that owes 3 times its own GDP.

  • I would buy Mr.-T bills, but not T-bills! :)

  • How about Arnie Dollars? He's giving them out in California; oh sorry; they're IOUs...

  • Maybe Arnie should put his picture on the IOU-s.

If the terminator gives a promise, he delivers.

    He will be back!

  • I bid a dime

  • Good stuff, Mike!

  • As you know A dollar is only worth what some one is willing to give you for it. Not what someone thinks its worth. The Americans have run the greatest ponzy sceam every. Lets us hope that those that made it all possible will be brought into the light by those who have least benifited.

    thanks again

  • on a slightly lighter note, I can see the US selling off physical assets, such as blocks of land/lease, resources and maybe even a mountain or two. Think it can't happen?

  • And India are warning Obama on Kashmir; and telling China no toy imports...

China isn't buying anything in the US right now; they'll wait a couple of weeks.

And Japan have their own Madoff.

It's getting much more interesting by the day!

    Peace

  • selling off land and other physical assets is risky for the buyer...the country could just nationalize them and take them back...its not like they can dig up a mountian and take it home..

  • your can be creepy ;)

  • Sorry, don't mean to scare anyone - just get them to see it comin'

    Peace

  • On ebay no doubt, no one's bidding on there anyway. I may sell off some of my stock in air to purchase some of these "tit" bills

  • We are so screwed!

Why buy the Tbills, bonds. If I were CHina et. al. could come back later and collect all the property (i.e. REAL ASSETS).

BUY SEEDS (non-GMO) BUY LOTS OF THEM!!!!

  • It'll get worse, much worse.

    Be prepared

    Peace

  • Yes, its going to get much worse.

And its going to be Pitch Black. And I'm not talking about the sci-fi movie starring Vin Diesel. ;) I have been thinking if the Federal Government hands me a good stimulus bailout package..ummm around 250,000 dollars or so...I'll help them out and start buying a few of the T Bills too. And also stimulate the economy by buying a few more things. :) I'll do my part. cheers.

  • Yes - where's my cheque? Oh, yeah - sadly that $250,000 will only buy a loaf of bread...

    Prepare

    Peace

  • Yes, I know and I have prepare...of what I can. And it won't be the Chronicles of Riddick. But the Chronicles of Collapse. cheers

  • pitch black was a cool film :)

  • It certainly was. :)

And also Chronicles of Riddick too.

I love the special effects and the computer animations. Another movie and series I like is Firefly.

And talk about bartering and exchange of goods and services, and doing odd jobs that the crew did. Will be more realistic when the crash hits in the US and everywhere in the world.

  • I didn't like it when the Captain got killed right at the end.

  • Certainly...as Schiff has mentioned this is just the interlude to a horrible period that will unfortunately be a round for quite a while.

  • Definitely.

You're right and I agree with you. To quote Teal'c Indeed.

  • Yes..they will buy the T-bills..and then print more money...and buy more t-bills..and print more money...and buy more t-bills.....yes.........what a great idea....

  • it falling faster and faster everyday. I would say they may find buyers for roughly 30- 40% of the new bonds and have to purchase the rest through the federal reserve.
