hey how do you unlock the bishomon sword in this game, I know you could get it towards the end of the game right before the last boss battle but you can only use it in the demon realm.
it wood help a lot if u were gaurding urself. press the block button right when they attack and they shood bounce off and get stunned 4 a sec. but when u block at the right time and they bounce off, thats ur chance 2 critical kill them. i never was able 2 critical hit them without blocking, it was hard stuff 4 me. but ya. try blocking

ahhm, I think may be the reply is a bit late, but critical in Onimusha 3 is not somthing that you can learn by just watching, the best way is to practise, for me I took a little bit more than half an hour to complete medium difficulty, so I guess that it should take the same amount of time for you.

In Advanced Critical, any form of critical except the Issen(no L1) can kill the enemies, attacks scould hurt them, but not kill them.
I think the easiest way to do an issen is to stand sill and just when the weapon of an enemy hits you press square.i think its
easier to issen a monster when it does a through the middle attack and if u ask wt is a through the middle attack its when a sword or any weapons that a monster has comes down towards your head normally those four legged monsters do it when they jump up.when the blade of a monster just touches your head press square.about 75% of monsters do this attack.
The easiest way is actually the Deflect Critical, block right before the enemie hits you, and press [] during the ring of light (it won't help you in training though).
The trick is to press square at the exact beginning of when the arm/sword/weapon type moves in your direction. It is just really difficult to pull it off on the demon puppets (green and red beings that apper to be made of fire). Eventually you could possibly learn to Issen crows and even archers which is harder than that. Oh and on large enemies that have armour or someting similar, equip tenso before attempting to Issen then as it has a double strike ability.
2. when many red armoured giants appears (that ones that are using spiked clubs and u must first destroy the armor and next kill them)u can kill using their clubs, how?, easy, just run arround and try to make one (or many) use varius club swing, if a club swing hit another one, it will be dameged and later die, repeat this until lasts one of them

1. if you want a LOT of soul with samanosuke, first unlock the "ten point slash" training, then (firts masterise this technique) play it a lot of ttimes, if u can do every training (doesnt matter if is in begginer) u can get 100 soul + bonus of getting various souls at time.

Unfortunately it's just before the last boss so you do not get to use it for long. However finishing oni target practice (mini game) unlocks ultimate mode which allows for them to be used through the entire game.
you don't have 2 complete the 4-5 previous phantom realms just go to Honnoji Temple and the doorkeeper will be there no matter. That's what I did the first time I played it.
^heh, is that so? Makes it all seem rather easy. I thought you had to finsih the other realms before all orbs became avaliable in the last. Ah well, it is worth finishing them anyway if you want the raizan, shippu and enryu on your next playthrough (swords from oni1) aswell as the illustrious S rank. Bath towel michelle is worth it ^^

its like deflect critical but in place of defence is now offence... its kinda hard i know... but i trained and won those idiotic monsters...

na, the bishamon sword is only unlocked when you finish the mini game of shooting eggs.
