It's a really tragic thing that happened, but I think the guy filming has captured it well, given that it's inevitable that people may want to watch what happened, and I think he was sensible saying that they should get back in case of explosions. My reaction was how tragic it was for the owners and their livelyhoods, so I think your strong language is a little unnecessary.

Oh wow. We were stuck up in the traffic jam at the top about 5.00, thought it was a fire drill as it was clear of smoke by then - immense queues. Poor guy, that chip shop was good!
