I didn't like the vocals at first, but they are very unique and well done. I love them now, kind of like how Nevermore grew on me. Anyone who hates on this is probably one of those assholes who thinks that things should never change.

First i liked their sound - and the vocals fit perfectly, refreshing to hear a band that can get technical whilst still holding onto some melody - and now i likt the fact that they look like they grew up then started a band. They've cut their hair, aren't coated in tattoos. They look like they could actually hold down a 'real' job, AAAAND they kick ass on guitar, hellz yeah!

Drummer looks like he is really trying to keep up with this. He looks very tired. Alot harder to keep up with the inconsistent beats and going hell for leather on a consistent beat I think. I could be very wrong tho.

The Compass is an amazing EP and has been playing non-stop in my car for the last couple of months.

I've just recently had to take it out though as I've put in a Christmas CD to try and get in the festive spirit, but as soon as January the 1st comes, I'll be turning it up to eleven, and playing this song to death again!!

Screaming doesn't ruin singing vocals. It's just a diaphragm technique like any other. I do both and as far as I'm concerned the only time I feel that I "ruin" my singing is when I don't practice, lol... which I rarely do. In any case, I do agree that this guy shouldn't start screaming IF he's never tried it before. It's a technique that takes time and patience before it gets definition in pronunciation and the depth of the scream itself.
