1980 something or other. I had a DX7 and after many hours of pain in the butt programming, I remember finally getting a sound that was almost perfect to the laser harp 4:05 ..... Tweaked my R100 effects machine that the synth ran through and OMG was I in 7th heaven that day.

1986!! I was there!! Raining all night. I was a 14 year old with my parents. Once the concert had finished, i walked ahead to have a sneaky smoke, there was a break in the crowd and cars going past and she looked into my eyes from 1 mtr away and smiled!

I had personal eye contact and acknowledgement from Princess Diana!!! I will never forget that fantastic night at the Docklands.

@Nyveck JMJ has had many different "models" of laserharps all over the years, not all of them working the same way. Considering the amount of smoke needed to see the beams, and how close he puts his hands to the reflectors (and possibly, the light sensor), this one probably has a low power laser. So, no need for gloves.

Also the beams don't point straight up like the majority of the other models, but towards the audience. No particular need for sunglasses, then.

This is one of the few pieces of music that moved me to tears, the first time I ever heard it played. Vangelis' Cosmos is another such piece. I really, really love this piece.
