This song was recorded during the In Through the Out Door sessions.It was supposed to go on the album but they went with Fool In the Rain instead.Carouselmbra took up alot of room on the album. Plant hated the song he couldnt come up with any lyrics for Carouselambra so Bonzo helpped him with the lyrics. Darlene was put on the shelf until it was released on Coda.
