why on earth did the usaf ditch the aardvark if it wasn't for mcmara and his stupid joint fighter program it would have been still flying with us today with awspme results for example libya
mouwhahha.. thats the stupidest thing i ever heard.. good thing we dont hear such stupidity in our pilot courses, cause we would laugh to death i think LOL
haha your obviously a spectator when it comes to aviation. remember the JetBlue incident at LAX? their undercarriage failed, the pilot landed safely, and everyone commended him for it.
same thing here; an engineering fault caused a wheel to fall off on takeoff. the pilot had to deal with the subsequent situation and couldn't have done so any better. engineering fault, it was not pilot error. i hope that got through. adios.
thats the difference between people like you and people like me... people like you think they know things just because they read it over the internet.
i write articles for an aviation magazine and have done aviation photography for 4 years, and am only 17. that's thinking for myself. what have you done?
i wrote about planes, and i took planes in picture too.. but something you cannot explain in writing or in photographs, something ive done and you did not, is piloting those planes ;)
now that I know youre 17 years old, I had a big laugh at it, kid.. i cannot believe it.. and I was arguing.. lol.. if only i knew ;)
@Fr33dom34 you're a knob mate. the undercarriage FAILED and he had no choice but to land with it up. What he did takes an incredible amount of skill and that was the least stupic thing he could've done. I'd like to see you try and do that. Just goes to show that we aussies train our pilots well
That is a very good pilot.

fr33dom34, mate, if you think that this guy isnt a good pilot, you go and land a 20 million dollar plane safely with no landing gear.

Fr33dom34 - I have met a few Pilots over the years and not one of them would ever talk down to someone the way you did. You're a liar.
