  • i to have one of these heli's, are they stable enough for basic begginer learning? thanks in advance!

  • @jettrooper02 Yes, I was a learner too when I got this heli. They are much more tame than other CP helis, and parts are cheap.

  • How long have you practiced for that. I've got the Walkera Dragonfly 4 and still learning. Which helicopters is better, the Walkera 4 or 36??

    Thanx

  • The 36 is much better. It uses collective pitch blades rather than fixed pitch on the Walkera4. I've been flying about 3 years.

  • can you check out this vid its a walkera 36 dont know wuts wrong with it the blades dont pivot.stupid people didnt even give me directions

  • A week ago I ordered a metal rotor head for mine! Doh, I hope it will be ok. I looked at your vid but cant really see anything out of place - except you need to throw that battery and get a new one. Are you in the UK?

  • ya the battery actually exploded after i did this vid it burned my carpet and everything i was just about to throw it out im in the u.s thx for your help

  • Bah!! I bought the metal upgrade and fitted it, but it didnt seem quite right. But I tried flying it anyway. BIG MISTAKE. Something went BANG while flying and the whole lot fell out of the sky. It's very badly damaged, possibly too much damage to repair :-(

  • this is my helicopter i think i really messed it up by putting metal parts you think you could see anything wrong with my heli its walkera 36 the top blades dont really pivot or rotate just a little bit im not sure wuts wrong they didnt even give me directions.

  • thank you for your quick return to my Q, 5 stars! o yeah i think i am going to get me one 36 again. i had one before but electronics came with it did not work properly. again, thanks and regards.

  • I believe the Walkera 36 is shipped with a newer and better transmitter now anyway.

  • hi there, what kind of set ups you have there? looks great and very stable walkera 36.are they all original goodies? what kind a radio you are using? 4 stars 4 u!

  • Thanks. All I have done to it is add a bigger battery (lipo 2200 12c) and a brushless motor & speed control. And added a few lead weights at the front to get the balancing right. Otherwise it is standard, just as it came out of the box.

I am even using the Walkera transmitter that came with it.

    Steve
