Consider also, making cardboard inserts covered with foil, then painted black on the side facing the inside of your oven. glue them in with elmers it will increase your temps If u want 2 retain heat use 1/4 inch ceramic tiles painted black 6x6 inch or larger then prop them at an angle in your oven along the walls NOT flush against them or set them on small flattened rolls of aluminum foil so they don't lay on the bottom flush. they will retain heat but not wick it down through the box
Hi! Great to see you trying solar ovens. Let me make some suggestions to help you with the oven. First of all, take the weights out, they will rob your oven of heat believe it or not because of how thick & dense they are. second, the bottom panel you put in for the drip tray, you need to cover it with aluminum foil, then paint black, this will make it reflect heat better.

Totally covering the cardboard all around on the bottom will help keep the cardboard from getting wavy and curled up around the edges to.
