Glad they are atleast paying. I don't have sympathy for the people who lost their houses as they entered into mortgages they could not afford and ones with adjustable interest rates. I bought my 1st house in 2000. It's a small previously owned house that I can afford. That's the way home ownership used to go. Small house then upgrade to a larger one. People who jumped into Huge brand new homes they couldn't afford after their variable rates changed have only themselves to blame.
