Zack Snyder is directing the next Superman Film which is called Man Of Steel, it is to be released in early 2013. It looks pretty good so far from pictures. Im not sure who is playing superman but he looks pretty buffed. Zack Snyder has directed 300, Watchmen and Sucker Punch. So the next superman may have a sort of dark eerie feel to it.
Henry Cavill is playing the lead role therefore I say he will be the best Superman/Clark Kent. I just hope Cavill won't dissapear like Welling or Routh. He's very talented (watch The Tudors).

The biggest problem with Superman Returns was that it doesn't have enough action to satisfy the average movie-goer. That's why it failed as a blockbuster.
I don't believe this film as bad as people make it out to be. Not as good as the first two originals, but good nonetheless. I agree it needed more fighting and a decent enemy and as someone has previously mentioned, someone like doomsday, maybe darksied. Personally I was glad to see him back in action. Hopefully with Zod in the new film, and up to date special effects, might just be a super fight that's really worth watching.

Personally, Superman = Superman II > Superman Returns > Superman III > Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.
The biggest problem with Superman Returns was that it doesn't have enough action to satisfy the average movie-goer. That's why it failed as a blockbuster.

I don't believe this film as bad as people make it out to be. Not as good as the first two originals, but good nonetheless. I agree it needed more fighting and a decent enemy and as someone has previously mentioned, someone like doomsday, maybe darksied. Personally I was glad to see him back in action. Hopefully with Zod in the new film, and up to date special effects, might just be a super fight that's really worth watching.

biggest c**k up ever in superman!!! krypton is in a different galaxy to earth and has a red sun, which is why earths yellow sun gives superman his abilities, therefore superman would not be able to even get close to kryptons ruins as its galaxy has a red sun which would make him the same as all the other kryptonians, mortal and have no powers, so he wouldnt even make it there let alone return!!!

I hated this movie, I know there are fans that say "give this movie a chance" & I've nothing against Brandon Routh but I just did. I mean ok it wasn't Superman 4 awful but after waiting so long for a new Superman movie I just felt really let down after I left the cinema when it first came out.

@The1864Salvatore I don't know. I think Chris would have wanted the franchise to live on. Not just in our memories but with new adventures. Superman is bigger than any one actor. He is a hero for every generation not just the lucky ones who were around in the late 70's and early 80's.
