Just Got my first Traxxas (4x4) last night.. From what my short short experience with RC tells me, Get a good tube framing, Incase you roll, Under skirts, So elektrics dosnt get all mudded up or filled with snow/water ect, I know its Water proof, but I think the better you protect the elektrics, the better it is..

Lol, my slash is like indestructable. All parts are RPM, except for chassis and body mounts which they dont make. I have an aluminum chassis saver peice, a motor fan/heatsink, and a roll cage. With the body on it can take a lot of damage.

I didn't realize the full size slash has the engine over the rear wheels, Porsche style.

I have the e-revo 1/16 VXL, which goes like stink. I know this is the full size joint, but I just don't like over the axle engines. Harder to modify, install and uninstall. I was really considering buying the Slash 1/10 too..Hmmm.

The slash vs the blitz ,well the blitz is more durable than the slash by far .plus I am not to fond of the plastic drive shafts on the slash,sure I could buy the cdv .and the VXL system sucks ,over heats to easy

steve another great video that roll cage is sweet , the slash looks so much better with the talons fitted . the slash i bought is the brushed version , but not for long .lol.. i plan on fitting the ezrun brushles system i have used them before and found them to be reliable and at half the cost of the vxl or the mammba .. maxx , great vid steve ..
