The scenes were added because you don't hear her thoughts the way you read them in the novel.

Stop nagging on the Twilight movie. Sure there were some scenes that were added and scenes that weren't there but come on. You people must know that when making a book into a movie it is never going to be completely the same. Look at the Harry Potter movies, they are not the exact same but they are still good! And so is Twilight! The books and the movie are great!!!! And just leave them ALONE!

ya TOTALLY!! i mean why cant they for once just go by the book...i was kinda dissapointed with the kissing that was in the book not being in the movie. i wished they put the part in where he was about to go play baseball and he kissed her up against the car. kinda dissapointing that wasnt in it. my favorite part!

Yeah, I wish they put a lot of things in the movie that they didn't but in the end I really loved the movie! I can't wait for New Moon!

i agree on the added scenes, how most of them are pointless. and when they're in the woods she finds out about him being a vampire, when its supposed to be in the car. i also agree about the sparkling being cheesy. it looks like sequins. i also don't see why they had to make it so short. they could have made it longer, like other movies

I thought the same about the length of the movie. I really hope that New Moon will be better and longer...:D

They were pointless too us, but I understand why they were added. Summit is not a huge production agency thing, so they couldn't risk making Twilight so much like the book that only people who would read the book would enjoy it. Thats why they added the violence and cut down the romance ((though a lot of that was Kristen's fault)). They had to make the movie interesting so they added all those scenes, plus Edward and James fighting ((which doesn't happen in the book)) to make it violent.

Oh, and in addition to that, it's the same reason why they made the movie shorter. They can't take the risk of people not seeing the movie beacuse of how long it goes for. I seems stupid to us, because we'd see it if it went for 10 hours ((which would be cool xDD)) but normal people who just wanted to see the movie and hadn't read the books would want to waste their time on a movie that goes for as long as Australia or something does.
