  • That movie scared the shit outta me when I a kid.lmao

  • I just finished reading the book, now i can't wait to see the movie.:3

  • very sad movie :(

  • This movie needs more credit for being so scary the exorcist sucked compared to this one

  • DADDY IS GONNA DO SOMETHING REALLY BAD

  • @sk8trdude2180 hes fucked up for our enjoyment, so we love it that way!!

  • Butters...you smell like...bacon!

  • I think that Victor Pascow was hilarious and cute. And one of the funniest parts of the movie was when Rachel (if the mother's Rachel) said "Everything's gonna be alright." and then Victor said: "I don't think so" and his face after that:D

  • se è inquietante il film dovete leggere il libro non riuscivo a dormire huahuhua

  • stephen king is great

  • Whatever happened to Miko Hughes (Gabe) he was in everything when he was a kid, now you never see him. I wonder if he's still cute.

  • listen 0.58 paramount bitches:D

  • u know, i heard that in most of stephen king's movies, he plays a small role in each one, cause he is actually the priest in this movie :D

  • I could watch this over and over <3

  • good movie but not as great as the book

  • Im about halfway through the book ... creepy. as. fuck!

  • It made me laugh because at some point Zelda sounds kind-of like a drag queen. Why would louis bury his son and wife there if he saw the cat come back as an evil creature? I get the fact he wants them back, but the dead guy warned him, just like is neighbour. And why would his neighbour bury the cat there in the first place. So much no one with common sense would do. P. S. The only reason I have so much critics is probably because it scared the hell outta me. Secretly. :P

  • @weerwolfje13

Zelda was play by a man (really).

For Louis, according to the book, the Windingos (not sure of the spelling) can make them do things they don't want to. So, maybe they control him to bury his child and wife.

  • The book is fuckin scary...cant wait to see the movie

  • @SKOLLVIKINGS28 The movie is really good. However, I wanted to Sparta kick Zelda.

  • Anyone else notice the music to Amityville Horror? First 18 sec. One of my favorite films when I was a kid. This and Amityville. The 80s simply had the best horror movies out of any decade.

  • @1984AP Dammit, I was just gonna write the same thing when I saw your comment :)

  • @kanemura93 Ha ha! Sorry. Surprised no one else noticed the music before me. And that was never used anywhere in this movie just the trailer.

  • @1984AP yeah and i like the song. name the song please.

  • @NverEnoughDeathMetal I don't think there is any name for it. It is the theme song to Amityville Horror from 1979.

  • Do you know where I can find this movie?

  • @Calenestel I think you can find it at Walmart, That's where I found it

  • @Twilight252545 Thanks a lot but there is no Walmart in France... Never mind: I managed to find it, at last... Great movie!

  • That is MESSED UP that Ellie dreamed that Church got hit and they buried him... isn't it??

  • I absolutely LOVE this film, Stephen King is the KING of Horror!! ;)

This is where my youngest brother got his name from, Gage <3 :)

  • i saw this movie in 1990. there was an old lady living at the house, she saw it too.... big mistake. we shouldn't have let her see it. because for months after that, she kept saying Gage, for no reason, even when she was alone... i changed my address in '93, but she was still there. she died there in '97. the new tenants say they can hear her walking stick tapping in the hall at nights... their daughter saw her in the kitchen in a wedding dress with her back turned, looking out the window

  • so wayt i dont get it. A cat comes back to life but hes evil now and blew up the house ? o.O

  • @TheDingDongDo No, it all starts with the cat, his sone dies afterwards, so he decides to bring his sone back, but his son is possessed and kills everyone, so then the father blows up the house....

  • the scene with zelda scared the living shit out of me when i was a kid--::shudder::

  • 0:29, is that stephen king himself???

  • @lpslover88 Yep, it sure is. He's made quite a few cameo appearances in movies, not to mention his unforgettable performance as the ill fated lunkhead Jordy Verill in Creepshow.

  • @lpslover88 Oh yes ;)

  • That cat looks eerie at 0:27

  • Not to sound redundunt but the book was by far better and surprisingly less gory

  • The book was better than the movie by a ton, but the movie still rocked.

  • They need to remake this film and do the book real justice.

But to be fair, there were some creepy unforgettable scenes in this movie, like Zelda *shudders* But IMO in the book there's nothing more scarier than the angelic little Gage Creed all bloodied up and demonic. Now that's disturbing.

  • By far the scariest movie I've seen.

  • Can't watch this movie at night. Nothing worse than a cat curled up next to you.

While watching this movie.Especially since my cat looks a little like church

  • actually, Cages dead was a proper experience he had, when his little child scaped from him in a road once...he admited that he was scared as hell, and finally, we saw his experience in this book....i think that this book is very sad, the first half of the book, you kinda get to know and love the characters, and then, bang! the orinco truck just makes all the book sad as hell....but still, is scary, not like the shining, but fuck! i kicked my moms cat once

  • one of the best of S. King. wonderful.

  • Jud isnt black in the book, he is White

  • @raisetheflag88 yeah he is..

  • Why do yous keeps askin' if Jud is black? He's an old white Mainer in the book just like in the movie... great book/movie though

  • isnt jud black?

  • yup, but he's white in the movie.

And "Red" is supposed to be white in The Shawshank Redemption, but he's black in the movie.

  • yeah....

    btw nice name =)

  • thx

  • @FuckWorkdays

Uh,I pictured Jud white in the book, but I guess that cuz I saw the movie first.

  • @weyron101

jud isnt black in niether the book or the movie

  • If someone buries a pet in the Pet Sematary it comes back to life normal? Or does it just turn people into undead?

  • The animals are undead too, just not to the degree that humans are. While humans are completely evil, it seems that animals just have a bad attitude.

  • they just turn undead and weird

  • It's not the Pet Sematary that raises the dead. It's the Indian burial ground way beyond in the woods that does it. The Pet Sematary is just the place where kids bury their pets. You gotta walk some ways before you get to the real thing. : - }

  • ya know the music thats playing at the beginning of the movie

its so weird but when ever I go to a cemetery now that music plays in my head @_@

  • HAHA!! Look at 0:29. Stephen King is the Preacher!! I had to look twice, but it's him. Never noticed that before....

  • it is him....

    i think

  • I love this book! It's well-presented and very scary! But the movie... *sigh* I wish I could say I like it, but some of the choices made in the production really left me scratching my head. And Ellie is an obnoxious brat in the movie. God, her voice makes me cringe!

  • this movie is bad. lol, its a little loyal to the book, but they did not include norma in the movie, missy didn't die in the book. and, they just seem like its rushing through the events

  • and the windigo in the woods

  • yeah, he was really Stephen King.. Beep-beep Richie!!!!

  • i watched it yesterday 29/7/2009

  • wow, I thought when I read the comments that everyone would say they hate this movie. It was loyal to the book.

  • Stephen King is like a preacher in that movie?

  • hey Etwilightj, i have watched this movie and i definately recomend it

  • People are surprise that I have read every possible book of Stephen King and watch his book adaptions to movies. But have never seen this one. Do you guys recommend it?

I don't really know why I haven't. Maybe subconsciously I was saving the best for last?

  • the film is excellent it does cut stuff from the book and one character but awesome film

  • hell yeah

  • definately recommend it and the book

  • fucking love this movie

  • Erriest music I've come across in a movie. Especialy if its composed by Elliot Goldenthwait

  • i rememeber some one said they did acid and watched this movie and had one horrible trip, i ve never done drugs but find this film very creepy

  • @TURBODORK2 never do psychedelic drugs and watch horror films!

  • nice movie is very cool and creepy
